4 Finds and a Purchase

4 ones, a 1974, a couple 1993, and a 2009
Purchased a Series 1990 $50. The pawnshop that I bought it from called it a bleed through error, but it's not really an error. I purchased it, as it is in really great shape and has a higher serial number. They charged $99 for it, while the book says it is $85. I figure in the condition it is in, it is still close enough to book price and had to buy it.

Yep, I selected the best of the 2 that were there. The other one was pretty good too, but they bent a corner while putting into one of those temporary flaccid sleeves.

They are pretty cool. Like $100s, they still have a bit of real money vibe to me, as when I was a kid, I saw them, but never really got them or could afford to keep any.

Really happy to have found that for purchase, especially in that condition. Just never really thought that people would have actually saved currency from 1990.

Nice notes. There appears to be a lure with the $50 note. Is it the image front, and back, or is it because it's the center denomination of US currency 🤔🤔🤔...

Grant is pretty stunning visually especially being surrounded by oak leaves with acorns. The back is always stunning, not just seeing the monument, but the view of D.C. I think the biggest appeal for me, is that I can choose to keep a few today, versus as a kid where I knew that was going to bills or needs.
