Honestly no, you shouldn't applaud them. You should always ask first if a person with a disability needs help. They might not need your help. You might actually end up hurting them. This kind of thinking takes away their agency.

@@Abdallah-924 Yep, not physically touching though. I suppose it's meant to be mentally touched, the spirit or soul or whatever one may name it. 😉
But I agree with your concern, because language like "to touch" means something physical. But in English language one can be touched "virtually", like touching one's heart or soul.

The thing is she didn't ask for help. They volunteering to help her was so sweet.
And also they talk with her and gave some motivation. Making hair, putting face mask on her and putting her bag on her back was soo sweet of them.

And, they did ask her if she wanted help first, which is good. Better than just snatching things out of her hands and assuming.

Yeah, doesn't work if you are shy though. It's like saying don't be angry to a woman that's angry, not a good proposition if you ask me.
As someone who has issues with their wrists it is heartwarming to see strangers help this young lady. The only people that offer to help me are family and friends. It’s quite difficult in Australia
Iam a special needs teacher andnget always asked if they should help or not.. i always saying ask if you can offer help but dont be mad if you also.might sometimes get no as answer.

2:58 when that lady was putting her bangs away from her face..... that was so so so heart warming. And the words of encouragement everyone gave to her? Wow. Just. Wow. Kindness really is free to give.
The only way to make an equitable world for people with disabilities is to A) have systems in place to support them on a governmental and social level, AND B) that people actually learn about them and try to help them achieve that equity, like the people in the video above. Both systems are necessary for us to say that we as a society played our part in helping disabled people.

Regrettably, it will never happen. China is on the path to world domination and their current social and political beliefs are incompatible with care for the disabled or challenged. Everyone who truly cares for their fellow human beings, will miss the USA, soon.

Faith in humanity restored today. This was beautiful. I love how they're so sweet and gentle with her and even gave her some advice. Lovely.
The way they're wiping off bits of the uneven lipstick with their hands, as if she's their family member. I know we're all super conscious of health precautions, but besides that, it's so sweet to see people treating a stranger as one of their own. Not common to see that where I live.
Shes beautiful and a disability should never be something to be ashamed of, you should truly never judge a book by its cover shes a sweet person...

I love these videos. I work with the general public. See and talk to a hundred ppl a day. I'm the newest employee. But I've had ppl make a point to tell me how much they enjoy talking to me. I'm fast. Get my work done efficiently, but I still make time to try and connect with patients. Listen to their stories, share some of mine. Most importantly, show them kindness. It's amazing to see someone with a grouchy face and an attitude leave with a smile on their face. Spread kindness! It makes me feel good knowing I make others days a little brighter. It's selfish and selfless at the same time. Smile at someone. Tell someone you like their shoes. It's magical to see someone's whole demeanor change when you give them a compliment out of nowhere
This makes me believe there are more nice people out there then there are monsters. She would be a really nice friend to have rn ❤️
