Soon the EBT will look like you stepped into 1940, this is amazing. Alot of dedication (and money) for this undertaking, keep the video's coming. I think the whole rail fan community owes a big thank you to everyone involved for keeping the EBT alive.
The EBT remains closed to visitors other than employees and volunteers who are authorized to be on the property. - Lawrence Biemiller, Communications Manager, EBT Foundation Inc.
Nathan.... thanks for uploading these videos on the progress made by volunteers like yourself.... question: how much of the line has been restored and what are the plans for any expansion? thanks again, Bill in Vermont
They are running trains to mcmullins summit right before the walking bridge but I believe track crew has expanded that by a quarter mile, also the state is requesting they extend the line 1 mile to the town of Shirleysburg. So hopefully the railroad will build a small passenger shelter or something and that they restore the passing track as well.
There ws another video during which a resident who had relatives who worked on the common carrier EBT said it was likely that there was "more coal in the mountain than was ever mined." However, I can't seeem to find the video. I hope it's true.
The only reason I'm able to be on property to record the progress that has been made is only because I am a volunteer of the railroad. Because I am a volunteer I have authorised permission to be on property.
I already have one for my GoPros, I've never seen one for a full sized tablet. Can you point me to the right direction to get one?! I could really use it;-)
Terrible video .... Hint: do not walk while recording ... absolutely nauseating ... stay focused on something for longer than a second ... quit panning the camera around at warp speed ... again, nauseating ... This video had potential given the subject matter .... unfortunately ....
There is only one reason it was so nauseating and that's because I was using my tablet to record, normally I use my GoPros but they were out of memory on there cards. Oh, and by the way if you didn't enjoy the video then watch a different one or just go away. Understand that this would have been better if I would have had proper equipment with me at the time, I have other videos that are much better. So don't hate one mistake.
Very glad to see all the work being done to the railroad, I’ve always loved the history of the E.B.T.
me as well. I’m most interested in Saltillo, I don’t know what but that station and area just seems so perfect to me!
This is great news and updated video/pics. Please get a device to steady the video, it will make it more enjoyable. Thanks1
Sorry had to record with tablet, Gopro died on me so wasn't able to use it, thanks for watching though.

I had a conversation with this gentleman on youtube and now I can't seem to find it. What a shame. All I can hope is that what he said is true.

Also I can only record for ten minutes for each video. So I have to be quick and that's why I explain
