After running the scenario for multiple times - the main buffs, supply consumption, French surrender buff and adding airports in Europe was the only way to make the scenario work meaningfully. The results are by no means conclusive, it almost every time went in a different direction, and more often then not in a deadlock. In the case of French surrender buff, and due to its Disjointed Government, they would often surrender as soon as the Allies naval invaded France and took a couple of cities - even if the entire naval invasion wasn't going to be successful. It took out France out of the war.. not a pleasing turn of events and hence the buff. Hope you'll enjoy the video!
I have had a few deadlocks too in the past. They mostly resolve in the 80s and 90s due to one side running out of manpower.

The US and England have a huge advantage, simply because it is protected by the sea. Because of the weak AI, they will always be safe. And you put all the maritime nations on the same team. Well, who will win hmmmmmm, I don't even know.
Yeah lol, I made France capitulate paradropping on 9 cities, lost only 2 divisions
The axis had more resources. AI is constantly moving troops by sea, and with overwhelming naval superiority of one side, the other will lose sea transports. Also, the AI doesn't know how to use tank divisions, and the Axis AI spends about 5-10% of military factories on tanks. I modified the AI of the countries so that they do not make tanks, and dedicate half of the military factories to the production of fighters and naval bombers. As a result, all the Allied landings were unsuccessful. It's not about the number of factories, it's about the AI strategy. Britain, for example, spends up to 80% of military factories on aviation. And Germany up to 40.

Japan sailing all the way around to Norway to invade the Soviet Union from that angle was wild.

Well this outcome was unexpected. I would have thought that the largest Armies of the world could have won but that wasn't the case. Either way good video Mr. Watcher.
It was the navy, they couldn't invade any on the islands effectively
Modern warfare is won at sea. Large armies are irrelevant when you are fighting the naval hegemons of the planet.
@@CeruleanSword not really, if this was realistic there would have ben a stalemate between the continental powers controling most of euroasia and the naval powers being safe with their navys protecting them

However if the Axis are good enough to garrison the shores in a AI vs AI game the allies couldnt win

No, notice that it suddenly jumped up to 151.3 million casualties when the Axis capitulated? That’s because the axis was now part of the allies therefore the casualties of both the allies and the axis were combined to make the number of 151.3 million casualties

looks balanced from a army perpective, but then you realise someone put all three mayor naval powers into one side. Who could have guessed the outcome? As a side note, i loved that you put china in the statistics, that ai deserved it fo as long as it lasted.
Realized I was making a mistake by ignoring China. With the push into India, had to correct the mistake.
Of course USA had to win. This is basically a rule of this game.
if you look carefully at the map, you can see that Japan won because it was she who, having subdued the population of China, created a huge army that eventually broke the Axis resistance on all fronts, which is understandable given the huge preponderance of the allies in the fleet that allowed millions of Japanese soldiers to land safely in France :)

@@Townes888 when you run an AI game for say 50 years, USA sometimes can be subdued by the AI, even via naval invasions. That assumes Axis annexing the Old World and sinking Allies fleets via air. Frankly though with NSB and the new coastal garrisons, I have yet to see it happen.

Something interesting I noticed is that all of the AI transfer their divisions across the trans Siberian railway instead of heading straight for their destination

Private unpublished mods help me quite a bit, otherwise just patience when dealing with the AI ;)

@@NeonNion the best tip that I can give you guys that want to get into lapsing is to stop asking for other lapsers to set you up. When I was starting, all the lapsers ignored me when I asked the same, and totally understand them. Why would they help me copy their content? But hence I don't blame you guys for trying, that was my step 1 as well. It fails though. Good luck & break a leg! Yes all our lapsing mods we made ourselves.

I also thought that was strange. How did Japan manage to annex land which already belonged to Britain? Britain literally lost land in the peace treaty, which makes absolutely no sense lol.

Because the default facist and communist countries is more likely to annex or puppet countries in peace deal, even when their goverment is changed to democracy, but their behavior in peace deal is still not changed. Japan, Germany, Italy, and Soviet Union is more likely to annex or puppet countries in peace deal. When UK, France, and USA is more likely to liberate countries in peace deal.

Might have been more balanced with China than Japan as the ally, which makes more sense
Exemplifies the phrase "Never fight a land war in Asia."
Or in this case Eurasia. But here I'd see that the most important factors were Allied naval supremacy, American undisturbed industry, and Allied control of the major Eurasian population centres in India and China (The majority of the human species.) It's little wonder they managed to defeat the Axis even with their tight cohesion in western Eurasia and dominance of all of Africa.
