I love these old stories of great players in college sports and this was an excellent documentary.

What a Beautiful Memorial to Red Grange! Only made better by the fact it was sculpted by a fellow Fighting Illini! Just a Fantastic likeness of Grange's at his best running down field, gliding over the Gridiron and avoiding would be tacklers like a Ghost! A Galloping Ghost! The Next I'm back home I've got to see this Bronze! Great Story!

Every time I walked the halls in school "Wheaton Warrenville South" which used to be Wheaton high school where red grange attended and played I always read through the glass all the amazing awards and trophies and to play football on a field with his name on it motivated me so much!

My grandmother's cousin was Grange's wife. He gave my grandparents one of his signed football Jerseys as a wedding gift. My great grandmother through it away in the 1940s helping them clean because it was ragged and dirty, Estimated to be worth between 100 and 250 thousand today.

@@tractsfn2458imagine thinking ray Lewis wouldn't be triple team blocked. He'd rarely get the opportunity to tackle Grange

This isnt a story about Grange. It's about making a statue.

This documentary is way too focused on the statue. I don't care about the statue, I want to hear about Red Grange.
