hey fellas! this one's straight outta the oven!! teeechnically I wasn't supposed to use this character yet, they were going to be teased in the next video (which is where all your name submissions are gonna go, too!), but said video has run into some issues! and I REALLY wanted to play with fire! hope that's fine! I'll be working on it again next :> (by the time I was done recording sounds for this I straight up smelled like smoke haha) also, if you wanna see more of this, lemme know! especially if there's any specific part to this type of video you like the best :3
will admit that part of it is just because it was easier not to have to create a background haha, but also just felt like it fit when playing around with bright things
The safety and certainty of a zippo lighter is so calming to me. The sound of the metal flick, the grind against the flint, and the soft flickering of the flame put me right to sleep.
Agreed I have two genuine Zappos and one unbranded clone that is almost too much like the genuine ones to be legal but I just feel so warm inside when I hear a zippo flick
First of all i absolutely love fire triggers and they're kind of rare to find so this is quite a treat!! Second, I'm so floored by the amount of effort this clearly took. Getting things to sync up so accurately in a video like this is absolutely no small feat. I really have no idea how you do it beyond extensive planning, recording and editing. No joke it's so impressive. Great work kip!!
I don’t know why I never thought of fire as an ASMR trigger. I loooooved the sounds the candle made when you lit them with the matches. Also new character looks amazing!

Kip, This is really good to listen to. I ain't a pyromaniac, but the sound of the flames somehow soothes me, easing my stress a bit. I also like your new character. The design looks really good.
I rarely ever get tingles anymore however I felt heavy tingles and shocks down from my right ear down the right side of my back at 4:45. Sounds moving slowly from my left side to my right seems to be the only way I feel tingles.
I know this is gonna sound weird... But this severely helped with my Sadism and Pyromania. Which has been a problem for years and seemed to only be solved by setting shit on fire. But now I can listen to lighter and fire noises while I go to sleep and wake up without the desire to burn shit down ^^ So few people make fire ASMR's and yours was the most high quality of them all. Or like you do with the artwork call-outs, have a slight bit of text.

the low light creates a mysterious sort of atmosphere, and i really enjoyed the petting sounds in tandem with the lingering flames
