    "Tupperware" is a brand, not every food storage container. I do like the video.... great ideas!

      So true! We do sometimes find ourselves using the eponym instead of the actual item name :) Thank you for watching!

      It’s pretty insulting to call glass Tupperware.

    Tupperware is a brand. You are speaking about food storage. Great ideas.

      Hi Sandra, you are correct! We sometimes use Tupperware and food storage interchangeably - we do love that little eponym :) Thank you so much for watching!

    This is NOT Tupperware. They are food storage containers.

    You're too young to have used Tupperware in the 50s, 60s, or 70s. Those of us who bought and used it then (and still have it, btw) respect the name and would title our video differently. How about Kitchen Container Storage Tips?

    Unfortunately these containers are not TUPPERWARE containers. Not all storage containers are TUPPERWARE which had a registered copywrite.

      Hi Anne! You are correct and we hope you'll forgive us! We often use the word "Tupperware" in place of "Food storage containers", as it rolls off the tongue so much more easily. We're sorry for the misleading title!

    Why are people so deeply offended by you folks saying Tupperware instead of food storage containers? I’m sure majority of people use the word Tupperware to refer to anything they put their leftovers in since it’s way faster than saying GlaSs sToRAGe CoNtAINeR. Like seriously people you need to chill. I’m sure everyone does this with other items as well e.g. bandaids, ziploc bags, Kleenex, qtips, etc I still call them that regardless of if I purchase those specific brands. You don’t need to hop on your high horse to correct someone’s preference on what they call something just because it’s different from what you say.

    • @daphnemiller6767
      @daphnemiller6767 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I object to it because I've been alive longer than Tupperware's been around and believe the brand name deserves to be applied only to legitimate Tupperware. I understand about tissues, bandaids, etc., but I'm nostalgic about my Tupperware and not about those other items.

  • @Gybing

    It's NOT Tupperware! Change the title please so I don't have to waste my time watching your video!

    • @PracticallyPerfect
      @PracticallyPerfect  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! Sorry for the confusion -- we do often interchange "Tupperware" and "Food Storage Containers" without even thinking about it... kind of like Kleenex and tissues!
      But we're sorry if that was misleading, we'll certainly keep that in mind!

      @@PracticallyPerfect I totally understand. I use the word Kleenex for other brands as well so I'm guilty at that. And I liked your video, so it wasn't totally a waste. It had lots of helpful tips, thanks. It was just that I was searching specifically for "Tupperware" videos and was fed up with so many people posting about storage containers calling them Tupperware. Thanks for understanding.

      After several comments about the title being misleading, why not change the video title? It actually makes me navigate away. I don’t use plastic. (I see “Tupperware” and expect Rubbermaid at best and grocery store “annual use” containers.)
