What I love about the “Blood On The Dance Floor” Short Film is MJ knew how to bring sexiness out without being too raunchy something these newer artists struggle with that’s what makes MJ very versatile which is why he’s truly The King Of Music also while MJ was on set of this Short Film is when he got he call his wife at the time Debbie was having his child which is wild! Just a little fun fact😉🙌🏽👑❤💃🏽💉🔥(Btw That French Braid Is EVERYTHING!!!!!!!)
MJ and his siblings took tap dancing lessons in their younger years. They used to tap dance in their weekly variety shows together. MJ used to take ballet lessons. MJ used from his ballet...standing on the very tip on his toes in his dance routines.
All together, Michael trained himself to dance. He didn't have any dance lessons. Of course he danced with his brothers in a group, and I believe he took atleast a little bit of ballet. But all the smoothness and unbelievable dance coordination is all him. He's been dancing since 5 years old, like I said...He's self taught. To learn the toe stand, If I remember correctly, that was a experimental thing. I forget where I got the source but Michael apparently said that the toe stand is just something that came to mind and he has been doing it ever since. Nobody taught him the toe stand, he learned on his own. Most ballerinas and professional dancers have to wear hard shoes to preform the toe stand, but Michael can literally can do it in socks. There was some rehearsal footage that I annoyingly can't find, where he jumps on his toes with nothing on his feet. People might that's impossible but people need to know that Michael was a different breed, the stuff he does with his ankles makes me think he's double jointed or unable to feel pain. What makes Michaels toe stand special is that 95% of the moves he does is what he taught himself. Michael was famous at five, so he had to teach himself. That's what makes his dancing so unbelievable. He's able to bend and twist his ankle in ways that would harm a normal person. Michael is just a all out natural talent.
I'm going to disagree with you just a little bit. While he did come up with the toe stand and he even admitted he took the moonwalk and perfected from street kids dancing. But Michael, most of his professional life, even with the Jackson's, used actual choreographers to help him harness that talent. Paula Abdul was Jackson's first real professional choreographers then Michael used Michael Peter's to help him come up with the dance numbers for beat it and thriller. Also, Michael used the same choreographer from smooth criminal on blood on the dance floor. Even dangerous and they don't really care about us was a combination of Travis Payne and Michael Jackson's ideas on stage.
The story of Blood on the dancefloor is a bit scary cuz MJ was with the producer Rodney Jerkins at his home or at the a studio (dont remember) showing his new ideas of this song and Rodney was totally confused of this title. After 2 days Rodney was at a party in a local disco where a girl was murdered on the dance floor. He was paralized for minutes remembering this song. So yep..But its true that MJ could feel things that later really happened...it was not the first time.
I remember when Michael was talking about Princess Diana and how she came to his concert in England. Before the concert she asked him if he was gonna perform dirty Diana ( which btw he confirmed was NOT about Lady Diana as the tabloids claimed. He said dirty Diana was about groupies. As the lyrics imply) he told her he took it out of the show to show respect and she encouraged him to perform it because it was her favorite song. Not too long after Lady Diana passed away and he said when he received the news he fell back in grief. He said he later got a feeling that someone was next. He said he prayed and prayed it wasn’t him. A few days later Mother Theresa passed. He really did have a 6th sense.
True story..yep...When i met Him in 2006 in Ireland he explained the whole story of Lady Di's death. It started with Terminator 2 in which there is his sentences he wrote like a screenplay. And thats why there is an alternative ending of this movie its on youtube u can check it where Sarah was talking about MJ's death! in 1996. So in 1991 MJ thought that He will die in that year in 1996 or 97. Because due to kabbalah counting around those years a famous person will die. MJ felt like he is gonna B that one cuz he always knew he would die in his mid age:(. And instead of Him lady Diana and Mother Theresa died...MJ really believed in kabbalah and in other eso stuffs..And when he felt the earthquake a day before and when it happened he climbed on a tree.)))..instead of hiding under a table. That was MJ...
Yessss, so happy you reacted to this one! It's cool to see Michael showcasing all his versatility. Also love how the song is so open-ended, so we can pretty much fit any narrative to it :D I see The Kidd is invested in the #FindLoveForBaba campaign since the "Any Time Any Place" Janet reaction video hahaha
Thank you guys for reacting to this! It's because of this song and the music video that ballroom became such a big hit dancesport in the late 90s. I love MJ's long french braid. Suits him perfectly but he cut it unfortunately years later in the early 2000s.
I wouldn’t say it’s a murder mystery, it’s kind of an antithesis to Off The Wall. Teddy Riley, who produced the track, was inspired by a murder of a friend at a club. Without even telling MJ about it, MJ titled the track Blood on the Dance Floor. It’s a similar narrative to Billie Jean, but in this case Susie is the murderer. She was attractive, enticing, she lures the narrator, or one of the narrator’s friends, to the dance floor and pulls out a knife to stab him. The illusion of escaping the world, just having fun is broken “to escape the world I have to enjoy the simple dance, seemed that everything was on my side”. Now instead of “living life off the wall”, blood has literally been spilt on the dance floor.
So Susie was the girl Michael was dancing with lol and Susie kinda falls in the same category as Billie Jean, Dirty Diana, and the Mysterious woman in the song Dangerous, except Susie is more savage Basically messing with Susie is like messing with life she’s crazy and you can’t escape her lol
There are many theories 😂 One of them is also what you mentioned “murder” ( i read somewhere that mj wrote this song because of the news story about a murder) idk if it’s true or not. The other one: The song is about fame and fame's betrayal. "Susie" is fame. A seductive force that promises things like "love and romance" The author says that to escape the world, all he wanted to do was "enjoy this simple dance"; to create art and have his art appreciated. (Copy pasted the second theory from the musicvideo’s comment section)
@@BabantheKidd correction his song Little Susie is actually about a real child, it is not at all about fame. That is a song that must be listened to THE FULL LENGTH VERSION WITH LYRICS BUT ABSOLUTELY NO SKIPS, NO PAUSES AND NO COMMENTARY DURING, because it is very easy to miss the story. The song if you hadn't listened to it yet is about 8 minutes
If you liked this, you two HAVE to check out ‘In the Closet’. Michael is at his all time sexiest in that video! Also, we all know you like me best, so just drop the number here😊❤️😁.
The story is about Susie, who is a woman that lures in men with her charm, seduces them and kills them. Read the lyrics, that’s why he says ‘she got your number, how does it feel, to know that woman is out to kill’.
Hi guys!!! Anyway, I knew that this song is inspired by a real story about a man killed in a dance hall, and that’s why Michael called this song “Blood on the dance floor”. I love your videos😂😂❤️❤️❤️
‘Somebody killed little susie the girl with the tune…’ BOTD susie was the killer cos ‘Susie got your number and she put seven inches in’. Simples ❤ love MJ. Stories, intrigue, red leather, dam he look fine with rings on 😂. He got called from this shoot for Prince birth according to the table dancer ( interview on YT)
Lol I love your reactions to MJ stuff! But this one isn’t about a murder per say more of a betrayal lol Like stabbing someone in the back Mike was good for a groupie lover kinda song and this is definitely one of my favs

I dont think he had this hairstyle any where outside this video. It did look pretty good on him.
Wasn’t really a choice for him, he was having a mental breakdown.

Is this the same Susie that Whitney was talking about on My Name is not Susan?🤔
