Yup.. I lived in Antwerp for about 6 months.. Was a working holiday..first job after graduating.. Bruge was good. I went out to there for two day trips.. Yup I went up the clock/bell tower... Some of the steps were missing and it was a spiral staircase.. Lol.
I have a letter posted from the US to Sydney dated back to 1905 with the letter itself , envelope and the post stamps all complete and intact. Also I have 2 stamps albums full of stamps I collected 70 years ago.
Bruge is a beautiful place. It has two markets, the one you mentioned and another that operates on Saturday mornings that is huge, this is held at the t'Zant (I think I have the spelling right) you can buy just about anything there. I did the canal trip and also the mini coach trip where a commentary plays in several languages. As for stamps: over a period of time I have collected a number of Belgium stamps and postmarks do seem to be generally very good.
Hi Bryan, Bruge was lovely - I enjoyed the canal trip and the journey around the city by horse and cart. I wish I'd tried more of their chocolate though. I have some Belgium stamps, but I don't really collect many world stamps... just GB and a few commonwealth countries. Thanks for the comments :-)
I have some of the oldest Belgian stamps,I am looking for a collector who pays good for them, and I also have stamps on letters from Belgian. Beautiful my friend!!

All of these are common stamps and are worth very little. If you took them to your local stamp dealer in person - they would be able to go through them and see if you have any interesting varieties... but if you have all of these on this video... then they really aren't worth much.
Minimum catalog stamps, but for 50p you got a bargain at just over 1p per stamp. I have all of these in duplicates. I used to dip into my local dealers 2 cent box and would find an abundance of these stamps as well as others I did not have.
