Dirk is the only in a video game hero that actually got busy with his princess/wife. I mean did you see how many kids they have? I’m willing to bet they will have plenty more in the future.
The first DL was so great at the time, I knew every sound and every move by memory. It’s hard to not make those noises and sounds when I play it today. But man the second was so difficult like nothing I had ever seen when it came out into the arcades.
What I'm going to guess is that someone fell into a silo full of cocaine and the only way to get free was to snort themselves out of it. And after they did they decided to make this game. Good lord that was trippy.

These were basically quicktime events the game’s. One’s that you would be paying a truckload of quarters in at the arcades in the 80’s with how many times you die in the games.
Just for that nostalgia my friends... =)
Voice actress Vera Lanpher-Pacheco passed away today. 😢
I prefer the director's cut version better than the original
The fact that Don Bluth Hans drew this video game is beyond impressive. It’s like your watching a Don Bluth movie

Such an epic quest with a heartwarming ending. A classic story that should never be tampered with.
"Go save my daughter"
*Spends half the game trying to kill the man she sent to save her daughter*
I love all of Dirk's screams, can never really appreciate them while you're playing because it's just SO INTENSE

Don Bluth really needs to bring this back for an actual film.
Idk if he’s around anymore though…
@@jaykay8426 He's still here for now.
They're doing that. The original plan was to animate it but it's live action now.
@@barttheraven What a bummer.

Either that or they took a thrumbo amount of beer bottles then made this game
Hahahahahaha, I literally lol'd
Actually, Don Bluth made this game with no drugs or alcohol affecting him. Same with the original.
I used to be able to complete this but now, 30 years on, just watching it is giving me a headache!
Daphne looks great after 9 or 10 kids.
(Sigh) The magic of 2D animation.
Princess Daphne is a better Disney mom than most Disney moms in modern tv shows
This is more exciting then the first Dragon's Lair chapter⚔⏳👍👍
