Thanks for the reply, i found out eventually actually. I really love the SRW series although I never played the saturn versions, they are much harder which is a really nice challenge.
Hi, please, how do I get the Combatt V character out. I finished the game, but I did not see the Combatt V enemies how do I show them. What do I do? I love this game very much, thanks
This reply is 10 months old, but here goes: no, you cannot use an Action Replay Plus 4-in-1 to save games. You will need to get a regular save game cartridge. The ARP can only have game saves copied directly onto it for archival purposes. You cannot save directly to one while in-game. You're right though, this game is super cheap. I see tons of them at game stores here in Japan for only about 300 yen each.
I lucked out, because the 8meg game save cart I bought also acted as a bypass to play imports. I have both F and F Final for the Saturn, and apparently F Final looks for the completed game save from the previous game (continued stats?). Gamefaqs says that there's a glitch with the 1st game that will wipe your memory clear, so it's best to save directly to a save cart. The save file alone is huge, like 198k or something. So it's best to use a save cart anyway.
Hey there, I would love to play this game again. Can you please let me know how you to play this game? Also if you don't mind, could you also show me how you can get all those people and mobile suits??? Your help is very much appreciated as I have been wanting to play it again on the Sega Saturn version!!! Cheers, rickywsk
I used Action Replay Codes in Yabause sega saturn emulator. Save Changes on the internal backup ram (bkram.bin). Then rename "InternalBackupRAM.bin" and put into SSF (best Sega Saturn Emulator). The theme music is VIOLENT BATTLE
@dheero Do you have the action replay codes?? Would you kindly share it to me? I have been trying to find them but was unsuccessful. Also do you know the action replay codes for robots and weapons can upgrade to level 10 or 15? Your help will be very much appreciated!
SRW F was a terrible game in the series. It was a game on the next gen, but the fight animation was just still images. You can't get the wing gundam units unless you read a fuking guide. There is no STMC in the plot despite Gunbuster is in it. It was released in two parts, and the first part had no Ideon, no gunbuster, and no wing gundam. I dont see the point of Heavy Metal, it's just a MS clone that is no fun to use. ANd I hate spirit energy get turned into exp if you don't use them. The game just asks the player to choose between fun and a bit of exp. Many decades have passed, I hope other old fans can see this game for what it really is; a piece of shit.
Saturn was such a beast with it came to 2D action games. I wish they would have marketed it better and localized more good games.

Frenemies: We should unite to ease their PAIN!!!

Is it true that there's a Satakore version of the game that fixed the glitch that deletes your game saves?
