I have the Graco triogrow snuglock and the Graco slim fit the original not the newer slimmer version. I love them both. Simple to install both of them. The trio grow is more compact top to bottom for more legroom in the front. Both fit well in my small Elantra.
The Triogrow is definitely more compact front to back, but I'm glad you got both of them to fit!
Any rec on slimmest forward facing/high back booster car seat?
I decided on the Graco SlimFit3 LX from the buying kit, but seeing it in this video made me feel even more confident in my choice! Will be purchasing once we're ready to graduate from the infant seat. Thank you so much for doing this!

Thanks so much for this video! Is there any reason you recommend the Graco SlimFit3 LX over just the regular Graco SlimFit? There is a bit of a price difference between the two. Thanks so much
It's a completely different seat. The Slimfit is 19" wide vs 16.7" width of the Slimfit3. Slimfit3 is compact front to back and Slimfit is not. Slimfit3 has a lock-off for forward-facing, which makes it easier to install, Slimfit does not.
We have chicco nextfit currently and looking to upgrade our Maxi Cosi to the Chicco onefit. Wasn’t sure if that will be on your next video or what your thoughts are on that one? thanks!!

Great Review! Any thoughts on the cybex sirona S?
We'll be doing a part 2 for more convertible seats. We do have the Cybex Sirona S in the Convertible Buying Kit. But it is incompatible with some vehicles, and we only recommend it for kids under 50 percentile for height because it has a short headrest.

I have the Graco extend 2 fit 3 in 1 and have a really hard time tightening the latch belts easily, it seems like the belt needs to be flipped, but I have no idea how to do that. Any suggestions?
You might find the seat belt installation to be easier
What are your thought on the new Evenflo revolve SLIM? Do you think it will for in a Toyota corolla?
We don't have one yet. But it's the same size front to back as the other versions of the Revolve. We have had the Revolve in a Camry and it was fine in there. But the Corolla is a little smaller. If you can put it behind the passenger seat, you might be ok. But you may not be able to fit a front seat passenger.
Have you had experience with cleaning the covers of the evenflo revolve? and opinions on the material? If read it can feel a little cheaper
I haven't cleaned it. None of my kids are small enough to use it. I think the material is very nice though
With the Evenflo Revolve seats, I see that it is tilted when it faces the door to load baby. Does that affect the parent's ability to get a good harness fit and buckling? Particularly for newborns?
That makes it easier actually. You can get the harness fastened and tightened while the child is facing you, and then turn them rear-facing.

My concern is that when the Revolve is swiveled to be facing the door the top of the seat is tilted like 20° towards the front seat not level to the ground for loading in the baby and I'm worried that it would be hard to properly buckle in kiddos, especially a tiny one who can't support their own neck and such. 😇
Fantastic video! Do you have a recommendation for the convertible that is smallest front to back? I’m not worried about fitting 3 across so the width doesn’t matter as much to me but it will be going in a Tacoma which has very limited legroom so front to back length is most important!

We have the Graco Extend2Fit 2-in-1 & 3-in-1. While we love it, I just saw that the Evenflo Revolve now rear-faces up to 50lbs/48”. Is it worth trading our 2-in-q version for it? We drive a sedan tho so I’m thinking the Revolve won’t fit great in our car compared to the Extend2Fit 😅
We've used the Revolve in vehicles as small as a Toyota Camry if that helps you decide. The Extend2Fit is definitely more compact, though.

Would like to know your opinion about the Evenflo revolve 360 slim
We like it! It will not swivel in most 3 across situations if you are wondering about that. But it will fit in many 3 across situations, if you don't mind about it not swiveling. It's one of the easier narrow seats to install and has high rear-facing limits.
I'm in doubt between the Graco extend2fit or Graco 4ever, which is better to put on a Kia Soul?

What do you think of the Diono and maxi cosi convertible car seats? I haven’t seen them on your page
We do not care for either of those. The Maxi Cosi convertibles are clones of the Safety 1st Grow and Go seats, so they have the same issues as those. They have a short headrest that is often outgrown rear-facing by the 1" rule before the child gets anywhere close to 40# or 40." The Diono seats are more complicated than most other seats are. There are other narrow car seat options these days, so we recommend using those instead.

What’s the most compact for smaller cars, the Grace slimfit3lx, Graco triogrow snuglock or the extend2fit 3-in-1?
Those 3 are all about the same front to back. Extend2Fit is a little smaller than all of those and Nuna Rava is the smallest of all
I'm not sure if the Chicco 4in1 Adapt is really worth it in terms of temperature. It is the only car seat that has this adapt temperature technology? Regarding cost-benefit, but which one would you recommend? I'm among the brands Chicco and Graco.
Some of the Britax seats have cooling fabric option (Cool Flow) and Clek seats with the Mammoth fabric are made of merino wool which regulates temp as well

It's ok. But the Triogrow is just a little more money and it's much easier to install since it has the seat belt lock-offs. They have the same exact shell otherwise.
Can a revolving seat be installed in the center seat?
You can try it. As long as you get a tight installation, it's fine

We have the Nuna Rava in our buying kits so you can compare it to the other seats. We couldn't have it in this video because it was for seats available on Amazon only. The Nuna Rava is fine for some people and not for others. Did the Graco Triogrow get recalled? I cannot find it?
No, it didn't! They did discontinue the LX version, which was the one sold on Amazon. You can find a version of it at Walmart now. It doesn't have the Rapid Remove cover and it has basic lower anchors instead of premium ones. It's otherwise the same
Why is the one for life seat sit slanted like that? Will it look like that strapped in?
When you install it, you would change to a different recline before doing so. Then it wouldn't look like that.
Please I need some insight on a Chicco seat4 fit that I bought here in Nigeria, I can’t seem to find a proper review on it online and I’m starting to worry if it was discontinued? Do you know anything about this car seat? I can’t return it unfortunately because this can be such a shitty country, it was recommended by the seller because they didn’t have the 360 Graco I wanted and she said it was a good brand.
Chicco Seat4Fix is European. You can use it until 18 kg rear-facing, and then after that, you can use it as a high back booster. Hopefully, you have a lower percentile child who will last a while with an 18 kg maximum for the harness. But I know options in Nigeria are super limited. What about the Graco Triride?
It's very similar the the Triogrow. But the Triride does not have the SnugLock lock-off, which is one of our favorite parts about the Triogrow.
So many options! I was looking into both the evenflo revolve or the graco extend to fit for my Dodge Charger but I’m still unsure which one will fit better behind either my seat or the passenger seat. We’re a tall family

I have the Graco slimfit3 lx but my daughter is 10 months. And when she falls asleep her head comes forward. And when not asleep she’s in a awkward position head to chest type. . Do you know why that could be happening?
Take out the head insert if you didn't already. But for a child who can sit unassisted and is properly harnessed, head slump is not an issue.

I’m looking for a new car seat, I find them to look very uncomfortable.. barely to non padding. My son gets very upset and his bottom is red from the pressure. I think it bothers him. Is there any car seat safe cushions?
You cannot add anything to the seat that did not come with it. There are seats that have more padding than others. Take him to the store and try some out. Keep in mind that sometimes the extra cushions that come with a car seat have weight limits, so check the manuals online as well.
