Hello Raz I've been following you since I saw your long speed run secrets video. I think that reviewing this stuff is ok, those cheap chinese ones are the only ones I play with, but I guess since ppl following you use to "taste" arrma, traxxas, etc, you could mention at least some of this WLtoys defects. Such as huge plays on the front tyres/steering hub, for instance. Or the drive line way too hard and crunchy. Those things doesn't make it a worse product, they would just explain your viewers what they're going to get. That's definitely expected on such cheap RCs, but I think that in an unbiased review those things might be worth a mention!!
Honestly I disagree, i think for 115 bucks for such a brilliant and fun car being super picky and mentioning things that didn't bother me at all when I played with it is waste of time and unneeded, sure if i thought it is a deal breaker but i really don't, I think the car is brilliant for the money, i really do. If one expect it to be a perfect $500 car then we got a completely different problem. It's common sense, you buy an rc car that comes with everything including a freaking Lipo and charger and it's a blast to drive for 100 bucks, i mean..lol. Yes, it is quite different in quality than a $400-600 car, of course. Still highly super recommended and to confuse a 25 year old mom with how much give nonsense the steering have it's just not smart in my opinion, simply because she don't care, she just wants her kids to be happy and she have a very limited budget, and yes this will be a brilliant solution for her.

You’re not lying. I started with the 144001 and the Hyper Go H16 and got obsessed. My H16 has a bunch of Hobbywing upgrades, upgraded diffs, aluminum arms and does triple standing back flips. Now, I have a 6S EXB and now I’m looking at 1/5 scales. I think the Rlaarlo, WLToys and Hyper Go chassis are the best cars to delve into the hobby with. Really helps that upgrades cost pennies too lol
These cars are great fun bashers or speed runners,they can handle alot. Got a fantastic one with a Raptor sct body on,but it's not any old sct. Check it out Raz tell me your thoughts? All the best Raz for the new year I hope you get 200mph+ in 2021! Stay safe dude.
Lol, Kevin Talbot thing!!! 😆 My 6yr old & I call him "franky", cuz he looks like a crazy turkish guy I worked with many years ago. Bout a month ago my kid blew up a tire on his Traxxas Rustler 2WD car, it has a castle sidewinder & castle 3800kv motor combo. I put in a 3S battery in & forgot to tell him not to gun it for too long. So, I hear a loud boom followed by a "uh oh, this happened to franky once" 😂😂
Got one for my 6yo for Christmas. Crazy for the price. The gold with the purple looks great in person.. and it's got deans connectors which all my cars already have. I bought the previous model 144001 too for the kids to play with. I take my friends and their kids to run RC and I'm too kind and I let then drive my nice TC7, F6, Xray X1, Maxx, Tamiya stuff... and they get broken. These cars are perfect for giving them. There's even a throttle D/R knob right on the control.

To be honest Raz i was surprised when you unboxed it i was expecting junk but it actually did look pretty good then with the by the book quality control testing you did with it i was amazed i might get one for my son and I to bash around with not that he needs anymore he will get all mine soon enough due a condition i have that will most likely stop me driving RC's in the future but for now ill add a couple to my collection cheers for the video Raz always good entertaining content
With a wltoys I started in this hobby and the truth is that I still have it and it works 100% I have had it for more than 10 years and this is an improved version with many parts in aluminum, mine is the A959b to this you just have to change the combo for a Brushless one and you will have a car for a long time

I also have 1 Wltoys car. All fun until you break something and then you wait 1-3 months on replacement parts. Buy LC Racing instead which is of much higher quality. Cheap parts and you can get em in just a few days from riptide or warrenrc.

you can get 2 wltoys for the price of 1 lc racing though and just use one for spares :) or if you've got multiple cars a month isn't too bad
