The morphing of Seagal's accent is one of life's greatest pleasures. I can't pinpoint it but this one definitely sounds like a rather feeble attempt at something out of the Louisiana bayou. He's a national treasure.

In the original film that started it all, "Above the Law" he too was mugged at a convenience shop. What made the aftermath of that scene was him getting into his vehicle to enjoy the classic tune by beloved trumpetist Chuck Mangione "It feels so good" In my view one of the most majestic pieces of cinematographic history.
