Thank you for this information, you are really doing great.
Apparently, I have finished my master's program in UK and now I have two master's degree. Similarly, I was able to published a paper from the thesis of my formal master's degree.
Please I need your help about the fully funded PhD program I want to apply for right now. Although the university stated that there is no need of research proposal as the details of the research have been clearly stated in the job description. However, for both my master's degree I came out with Merit grade, But I need to write a good personal statement for me to stand out among my competitors for this fully funded PhD program in York.
I would be grateful if you can guide me through, if possible if you can give me the sample of your formal research personal statement.

Hello Sir, with regards to recommendation letters is it always compulsory to take it from your lecturers from your previous university, or you can take it from any lecturer within your field of studies from another institution. Because my lecturers from my previous university seem not to be proactive when it comes to offering recommendations letters, and I have relation with some lecturers in another institution Here in Ghana can I go to them for the recommendations letter despite the fact that they never lectured me?

Normally for 3 reference letters, you can take 1 from a lecturer from another university if he can establish a connection.
The remaining 2 can come from your former university. Or possibly you take 1 from your alma mater and the remaining 1 from your supervisor in any industry you've worked in.
