Hi Lynn and Ladies, I especially love these segments, I love listening to how you all do your readings. You are all the greatest, thank you so much. ❤❤❤❤ Gwen
Thanks for a great meetup! I loved the idea of teaching tarot to kids and seeing how they interpret the cards. Do they have the special insight of youth, or wild imagination? I also appreciated the convo on how you interpret a court card in the ‘outcome’ position.
Thanks for stopping by again Stephen. Kids are amazing. I am currently in production on a 10-video series on Teaching Kids Tarot. I've got interviews from 2 childrens' deck creators, 3 segments that feature the star of my series, Annabelle, who just turned 8! And a list of tips for teaching kids, myths that I will debunk, best decks, and my companion guide, the LWB for Kids. Look for it here starting in the next couple of weeks. And thanks for mentioning 'how to interpret a court card in the outcome position'. I'm looking for something to fill in the next couple of weeks. I'll ponder that idea! Love and Light! Lynn XXOO
Love listening to this and wish I could comment as we go along. I don't do reversals, but if one would show up when I thought the deck was in order, that would be different. I do have specific decks for specific occasions. It was a nice surprise hearing from you the other day (yesterday). Now I've got to get caught up watching your podcasts, etc. I agree with Yvonne on letting the querant pick the deck from those I bring. I did an experiment last week. I keep all my decks in individual custom bags. Everyone seemed to prefer the blue velvet bag first; the second favorite was the deck in the purple velvet; and only one person chose the red moire satin bag. Only after they picked one did they learn which deck was inside. (Gaian, Ethereal Visions, and Golden Art Nouveau). Prior to going to an event, I decide on which type deck to take along and do an interview with the deck to see how it's going to behave. Then, depending on how they "feel", I decide which three are going with me. From there, the querant gets to pick.
Hey Rosanne! Nice visiting with you, as well. If I wasn't so tech-challenged, I'd go live so that people could share during the event. But alas, I haven't found that 14 year old whiz kid to help educate me! Still lookin'!! I do like to check in with my decks before they go in my travel bag. Sometimes it just feels right to switch them up. But I am so in tune with certain ones that I revert back to them most of the time. I do make sure I have options, though, because sometimes they just don't talk to me! I, too, use the Golden Art Nouveau deck. I love the size. Thanks for stopping by. Always a pleasure to see you here! Lynn XXOO
Theresa Reed ???!!! Oh my, she is awesome ! Such a down to earth, practical and fantastic reader !!! Her latest book, "The Cards You're Dealt" just won an award. Please let us know when and where this interview will take place 👍🏻As to kids reading, their view of the cards, untainted, is SO refreshing 🙂 Excellent topic to explore, Lynn !
Thanks Ana. Theresa interview is in 4 hours. I'm psyched! It will be Video #2 in my series on Tarot & Kids coming out in a few weeks. I'll let you know! Lynn XXOO
