I absolute adore when someone loves what they do. A good number of the things Sophie talks about most people won't even know have been implemented with such thoughtfulness and love. I'm currently redoing my parents big house and I've been told "just get it done" no one will know. Nope. I'll know. I either do things properly or not at all.
Stunning! Breathtaking!! Your taste and personality are so calming, elegant, and sophisticated, the same as your videos. Thank you for the detailed explanations. I learn so much from you. I wish you much success! Please keep sharing your journey with us, it's so uplifting :) !!
Gosh, Sophie and team, what a treat for the senses. This home is spectacular. The attention to detail, the beauty at every turn. What amazing clients. What an amazing team you all are ❤
The rooms are beautiful. Love your detailing. I had to chuckle when you called the External Majilis colourful: I think we have different ideas of what colourful means. Which is not in any sense intended as a criticism - the world would be very dull if we were all the same. 😊❤
So elegant. Thank you to the clients for letting us see your stunning home. I love that you tasked Sophie with marrying Asian (feng shui), Arabic, and English design elements. Sophie ,you and your team delivered one for the design books.
So, so beautiful. I love the colours chosen, so relaxing and peaceful. I hope the owners love it as much as I do, they are very lucky to have such a cleaver designer.
Love the attention to detail about choosing the perfect color tones and how inviting they feel together; the bedroom is so peaceful and inviting. Great work!!!

A sensational result, Sophie! It is so intriguing to see the culture interwoven into the design with such elevated and sophisticated details. Favorite moments include the sumptuous handwashing pavilion room with its extraordinary lighting feature. Also, finish matching the guest en-suite hardware is just brilliant and so luxe! The great boutique hotel properties should be paying close attention and considering you for world class hospitality experiences.Bravo!

I have been looking forward to the rest of this series with the same anticipation as I would for my favourite Netflix shows 😄 I feel like curling up with a cozy blanket and popcorn to watch it! Also love love the white outfit you have when showing the guest room Sophie. I will run to the links to see if you have shared it as you normally do. Also, just exquisite designs! Sophie, you forget you're also a fashionista. Can you list the OOTD in your description. Love your outfits, you already know we love your interior design.
Thank you- the outfits are both old which is why I didn’t share links but the dress I wear in the Mjilis is Ulla Johnson and the skirt and cream top is v old Amanda Wakeley
I know this channel is about interior design, but I absolutely loved all of Sophie’s dresses. Is there anyway we could get the details for them entered into the description box please?
I congratulate you on such an amazing and absolutely beautifully designed house, I'm sure the Clients have no doubt they made the perfect choice in trusting you as their Interior Designer.
Awesome Sophie I have a lounge room exactly like this and have always looked for inspiration to divide it its 9m long x 12m with a dining room running along the back of the room and it isnt divided so a whole open space. so this gives me lots of inspiration as much as i would love you to design me a new interior i dont think i could afford it😀
Love your videos and wish they were more frequent! Could you please talk about your process of how you source furniture? and how you decide on which pieces to pick? if they were custom, how do you decide the design? thanks!
MY apologies in advance, I also follow Sophie and I get a lot of inspiration from her designs, and above all love listening to her. But Majlis doesn't mean sitting room/Living area, as stated on google, Baithak ( Baitak) is the correct term, majlis means gathering, it can be any sort of gathering, social, religious majlis is just a term for people getting together.
Girl I'm arab and no, we call the living room or any gathering/setting room Majlis and the word comes from " جلوس Jolous" which means setting, like come here let's go to the majlis, let's chat in the majlis, did you clean the majlis...etc
Also the term of people getting invited and set together is different, sometimes it's " عزيمه Azima" which means invitation or "جمعه Jam'A" which means gathering. Majlis is the place to do so.

Absolutely Stunning, I true to nature red and gold tones in the mens majilis are so welcoming yet powerful and commanding, yet has the balance of calming and welcoming, so appropriate for the space. How you have dressed the passways, I appreciate the foreshadowing for the branching rooms. Adore the 'flow' from the artwork to the bed throw haha, the pair of artwork that are either side of the fromental dainty pussy willow wallpaper also creates a subtle juxtaposition which is a stunning detail. The 4 basin washroom, is absolutely stunning, i wish to wash my hands at least once in the basin it is just so special, very memorable for guests I'm sure. Thankyou so much again for taking us through your designs, and the behind the scene shots! Also a thankyou to the clients for sharing your home with us if they are reading xx

Sophie, I'm just asking out of curiosity. Are there any prayer rooms in this house? If it is available, can you show it to us if they allow?

the furnitures killed the arabic traditional decor. It is too much westernized. That kind of decor works in west, not in ME.
