    Jimmie's 7th championship win at Homestead always gives me goosebumps. Thats my favorite win from him. God it sucks that he's retired.

    There will never be another Jimmie Johnson. His resume is impressive. 2 time Daytona 500 winner, 7X champion, 83 wins. One of the best to ever do it.

    One of my memorable moments from his luxurious career was the 2010 Auto Club 500 at Auto Club Speedway, where he won. This was my first ever NASCAR race attending, and my favorite driver won. The best thing is that he did his burn out in front of my seats. Just sooo surreal in many levels

    Man he provided so many memories for me. So many Christmas gifts, die cast cars. I'm so happy he was my role model growing up. He was mature, professional and a great champion. Hats off and thanks for being a BIG part of my childhood.

      I also think one of his best wins was his superman win in 2016, he broke the tie and did it in a special way

    Win #19 is really special for me, I was young, watching my first NASCAR race, no idea who to root for so I just watched a few laps and was like “that blue and silver car looks really cool” then he won the damn race, and the rest is history!

    It's insane he was stuck tied for most titles and most career wins, as someone who's sundays as a kid through high school years were spent watching my favorite driver JJ i still wish he could've gotten #8 and shut up the GOAT arguments or atleast won one last race to sit alone as the most winningest driver in nascar history ☹️🥺

    A bittersweet day. I became a NASCAR fan in 2011 so I despised the 48's golden horseshoe. I wish he could have faded a little slower in terms of getting a win or two in his last 3 years.

      What’s interesting too is that in 2002 he was a serious contender for the championship, at one point leading the points standings (which had never been achieved by a rookie before). He ended up placing 5th in the rankings at the end of the season.

    Know what's very impressive? Not only did he win 7 championships tying with Petty and Earnhardt, He is the only racer to ever win 5 championships consecutively, from 2006 to '10, nobody has or maybe never will do that again, not in our lifetime potentially. Gordon and Hendrick made the best decision in bringing him to Nascar in 2002, they saw the true potential he had.
