Remember to use the bass amps for your electric guitar too. That's how the Bassman became so popular with guitarists. Clean it up with onboard EQ.The possibilities are endless. 👊🔥
Unfortunately, that's not how IR's work in this case, as they are mainly electric guitars. An acoustic guitar produces enough amplitude and definition to capture the essence, or IR. Same thing for amp cabs as well. It's a good question though! Enjoy the update.
Does this update adding Bass presets overwrite any of the guitar presets? If so which ones? Might be something to consider for those who dont plan on using Bass. Thanks :)
How do I install the quicktone software on my mac? I just installed the latest firmware and downloaded the quicktone software but it keeps telling me to plug in the USB cable which is pluged in . Can you give me some detailed instructions on how to install this? I'm about to thru this thing out the window. Thanks
i bought the mg300 along with a tele and a p bass not knowing it didnt have bass amps. but with a little tweaking you can use few clean guitar amps in there for a bass using eq. but it wasnt *really* a good sound so i was thinking of selling the pedal but now i need not, that's awesome. just a thought did they also include tuning for a bass? because on v3 firmware the pedal couldnt pick up low e string on my bass.

I own a Nux MG300, it was working flawlessly but currently is having low volume even when presets are at maximum volume, master and pedal are at maximum too, I tried with amplifiers, with interface and still the same. Now I made a factory reset but is still the same way. Can you please help guys?
I hope next you add pedal efx that will on when we select the presset as its set, not like now, when we want to use 'wah' example, we always need to hit the pedal again. That's the cons of this great fx. Thanks 👍
So after the latest firmware update ,which I did get to work , the tuner no longer works and the patch volume no longer functions … Really Nux ? You make excellent products for the most part and I love my MG- 30 , but come on it would be only fair to fix this latest firmware issue that many users have now … maybe I just need to buy a different more reliable modeler than hope this gets sorted out some time soon ! Surly you understand people’s frustration… right ? Please fix and thanks in advance 😄
Could you cover how to integrate it with analog pedals? especially how to use the OD and amps of the MG300 and analog pedals for modulation / delays after the nux and run to PA? As this would be a good way to be able to turn on/off modulations within a same song that the MG300 (though great) does not allow without changing presets.
Hi there. Maybe I can help you out. I do exactly this. You go into a DI box after your pedals and before the PA. So far the venues I've played have a DI box available, but it's good to have your own just in case.
Can we please get a new firmware update for the MG-30? Pls add a defretter and a pitch shifter for guitar.... and to be able to stack reverb would be great😅😅
The important update came last year! If you want more then pay for the 400 or MG30. It has more than enough for anyone. Stop wanting more and play more.
Please update the audio driver, especially for win 7 32 bit, i cannot connect my Nux mg 300 to the quick tone after getting update. On the other hand, while i downgrade the firmware, the quick tone works again

Hello NUX, I recently Updated mine to V4 however after the update my unit won't turn On anymore it can still go to the update firmware mode, but I could not for the life of me turn the system on, please help me fix this issue of yours thanks.
A muchos no ha pasado lo mismo que tú. En este caso, antes de volver a encender tu MG-300, deberás mantener apretados los dos botones footswich, con el cable USB ya puesto en tu ordenador , para volver a entrar al modo de actualización, y hacer los mismos pasos que ya hiciste antes para instalar la V4, solo que ahora tienes que instalar nuevamente la V3. Solo así volverá a funcionar tu MG-300. A las personas que nos pasó el mismo problema que has tenido tú, no pudimos nunca instalar la V4 y hemos tenido que volver a la V3 para que pueda volver a funcionar nuestra NUX.
@@Marcossan141 I actually did that, it works and opens now, but now I can't edit patches on the pedal itself, I have to use the Quicktone Editor just to adjust patch levels since if you move the edit to the EFX or Noise Gate it freezes
I'm gonna buy one soon, but I'm new to pedals and i don't get the full picture yet. Can i still use the update when not connected to a pc? Like playing live?
I updated to Firmware version V4.02.23 but the tuner has problems, the rest works fine but the tuner no longer works, could you solve this problem in a new update please so that the tuner works correctly

Small suggestion: Add adjustable Direct mix parameter for effects. This would allow much more flexibility and it should not be that impactful for the DSP engine.
Hello guys from NUX, can you guys make a "swap preset" menu inside the MG300/MG400/MG30 in the future update? I'm using MG30 right now, and sometimes i just want to make a new preset without connecting the unit to my pc, and when i'm done making a new preset i can't move it to the bank i want without replacing the old preset, bcause i don't want to losing my old presets too, please add that function in the future update, thank you NUX ❤🔥🔥
POR FAVOR, REVISEN Y SOLUCIONEN LA ULTIMA VERSION DE NUX(v4). Ésta, es defectuosa y no funciona. Una vez finalizado el proceso de instalación, al momento de volver a encender no reconoce el pedal y no enciende. Para volver a hacerlo funcionar, hay que encendarlo nuevamente presionando los dos switches y volviendo a instalar la versión anterior(v3). La última versión no reconoce la MG-300
Descargaste nuevamente el Quicktone? Supongo que para una nueva versión se necesita un nuevo Quicktone. Estoy pensando en actualizar pero con los comentarios que leo de malas experiencias me da miedo
I mean, with crunch or high gain/distortion (especially with the neck pickup of a les paul) the low frequencies sound very muddy and fuzzy, like there was a fuzz
I was having the same trouble but all you have to do is select any patch and then right click on the amp and change it to '27. MLD'. This opens the bass amp, then you can right click on the cab and select from 28,29,30 for the bass cabs. Rob
Parece ser que esta actualización trajo mas problemas que soluciones. Muchas dificultades para que vuelva a funcionar correctamente después de actualizar. Tendrán que hacer varios ajustes técnicos.
@@exoticrr317 No. Ni bien terminó de completar la instalación del firmware, al momento de hacer el siguiente paso, que es el de apagar la pedalera y volver a encender, el pedal no volvió a encender nunca mas. Tuve que llavarla al servicio técnico

Had problems with V4 update . Have to delete and re-instal Quicktone editor . Then ok .
