The verdict is in and there are some amazing vegetarian options in the City of Light! To find more incredible places to eat (and drink) (and eat and drink) in Paris, grab my guide at parisinmypocket.com today!
This feels like some OG Jay content; I started following when I was researching Paris for a vacation and never left. Great to see some more of this type of content.
Wow! Looking forward to this one. During our May 2018 visit to Paris, my daughter and I enjoyed vegan food from restaurants and markets. We enjoyed it all, and didn’t find it difficult. We even shopped at an all-vegan market.
Went on an amazing 2 week trip to Paris last year and built the bulk of the trip around Jay's suggestions. My wife and I are vegetarian and had no problem finding things, a lot of places that Jay often recommends have great veg options! A few notable mentions are Hardware Societe, Trieze, and Zia. A few I found myself are Les Tontons Veg (vegan! also one of the best burgers period I've ever had!), Tien Hiang, Immersion, and ORA. Vegan might be a little trickier but all of these places did not disappoint!
I'm vegan and going to paris in April, so this was really helpful! My partner has coeliacs so i expect finding anywhere we can both eat will be a nightmare, but at least it gives us more of an excuse to wander around the city!
So true, finding a place that caters to both might be tough, but thankfully Paris is the best city to explore it. For GF, I think it's a little tougher but I've heard good things about Helmut Newcake and Chambelland!
I think this video is god sent 😂.....you did it exactly on time ... We are coming to Paris in 16 days and i am a vegitarian from India..... Thank you for all the recommendations .. .saved it 😊. Can you also do a video on Christmas markets and food there .... vegitarian offcourse ❤. God bless 🙏
Am not sure I'll go the the other places (but if I happen to be nearby, why not ?) but Maoz... probably the best deal near Notre-Dame, and it is so taaaaaasty.
Great content as always. In most big cities they are introducing vegetarian/vegan options little by little, because nowadays everybody is friends with someone who doesn't eat animal protein, so they were losing clients for apéros/lunches/dinners. I'm glad the vegetarian/vegan movement is starting to disrupt here in Europe.
As a vegetarian who did occasionally struggle to find food beyond fries and salad when out with friends I am very much looking forward to trying all of these places! They all look fantastic!😊
Whoa what the heck, I’ve been living in Paris since august, and been going to a nearby land and monkeys relatively frequently. I had no idea it was vegan! 😂 now I like it even more!
I am not a vegan, but I am not opposed 😂. I will try the Vegan donut shop on my next trip. Question: What coffee do they use? My hunt is always for the coffee. Donut is second. 🌴🌴Aloha
Can I say I feel for you about forgetting words in your home language like you forgot "cilantro". I have been in Germany for fifteen years (a quarter of my life) and I forget words for things all the time. I think I might be doing over the festive season a set of salads and have pita breads and have a donor kebab station - great idea.
Oh yes definitely a bit of jam with your croissant now and then but shhh don’t tell anyone! I’m not a vegetarian but wow all of that food looked so delicious. That carrot especially!

That's amazing, it sounds like YOU should be the go-to vegan advice givers!

Merci Beaucoup! As a plant based Francophile much appreciated! 🪴💙❤️🤍
Vegan here and going back to Paris in June… will definitely buy the book
Just bought a copy from Amazon Germany.
So glad to hear it you guys, you'll love it!

A wonderful and delicious episode!
Glad you enjoyed it!

This video was wonderful and now I'm hungry 😭 (Cooper looks adorable with that outfit btw 🥹🤏🏻)
Thank you 😋
Thanks. I needed this for my trip in Feb.
Go Cougs!!
VG Pâtisserie should be awesome. You should go there. It's a full scale patisserie 🥐
Am not sure I'll go the the other places (but if I happen to be nearby, why not ?) but Maoz... probably the best deal near Notre-Dame, and it is so taaaaaasty.
This is incredible production quality.
Thank you!
Thank you! We’re always on the lookout for great meatless options. ❤️
Perfect video for me. Can't wait to eat my way through all these places
You're gonna have a blast

8:23 Omg this place is so cute!
Boneshaker donuts are heavenly good ❤
I love Cooper’s parka!! 😍
He looks so good, doesn't he?!

I’m a meat eater but my wife and I enjoy an occasional vegan meal. Variety is the spice of life.
Now you shall crack some real estate for us who want to move there!
This is great, though surprised there was no mention of Hank Burger, which kept me and my husband well fed during our time in Paris 🍔
Hank Burger is a classic, you're totally right! My goal here was to find a few lesser known places :)
Restaurant , bar videos ❤🎉

Ah! Great question, I should remember this. It's an Irish brand I believe.
This video exists but I can’t wait for that one holidaying couple who don’t do research on food preferences.
Another video less than 10mins!Is this a trend?
They might be difficult to accomodate, but we don't have to eat vegetarians in Paris. Nor any other city for that matter.
If you want to come to India, just drop by. There’s so much to teach you haha

and I forget words for things all the time.

Happens all the time! I know it's normal, it can still trip me up, forgetting words I've been saying all my life
Oh yes definitely a bit of jam with your croissant now and then but shhh don’t tell anyone! I’m not a vegetarian but wow all of that food looked so delicious. That carrot especially!
It was so good! I forgot to mention it was a vegan corn dog
I think the word you’re searching for is cilantro.
I only eat vegetarians (cows and lambs), I don't eat carnivores (tigers, lions, leopards)
It would be really helpful if you included the prices in your videos for us vegans researching where to go eat.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
VEGAN GOODNESS !!!
🎉🎉
Mmmm animals!
