Love seeing your whole house come together! The design is so functional and sophisticated yet fun. Also the couch cushion punches were so funny 😂
For Kiki and her bed, they love to have their own little den to sleep in. Our dog sleeps in his dog den, in a little under-stairs doggo house we made for him and like you, if we have ever tried to let him in the main house at night, nobody sleeps! He is up and down and roaming all night. We don’t shut him into his dog den anymore but he just goes in there during the day & at night, we say ‘go to your bed’ and he goes and lays down until we go down next morning. They’re very territorial so prefer having their own, regular place to sleep. Definitely don’t feel guilty! 😊
Hi Emily. It’s very sweet the boys choose to sleep in the same room together ❤️ I’m really chuffed that you and Matt have your own peaceful retreat too. Everything goes downhill when we don’t get quality sleep for sure. Sweet Kiki gets all the love, attention and exercise throughout the day- it sounds like she loves her own bedroom to go to at night as well. The downstairs bathroom 🥰 that wallpaper is fab!
My dogs go into a crate when we leave the house and when it’s bed time and honestly we love it because it gives me peace of mind that they aren’t destroying my house and it also gives the dogs a space where they can just relax without being bothered.

Definitely keep the crate, it's her safe place. We have 3 dogs and they each have their own crate

My dog is 8 years old and his crate is his bedroom. He'll come on the bed to say goodnight but after that he goes to his bed, so Kiki might never want to give up her crate xxxxxxx
Just love when i see that you uploaded a long whole cleaning video. It's time for me time and chill :) and then get motivated and speed clean for 15mins before shower and bed. Also big fan of one scent for all cleaning products 🌺
If you want you can make the dining table a home work table since they don't use there desks as much

I have been watching your videos since Jackson was born and I learned how to leave the toilet brush between the bowl and the seat from you and every time I see it I'm always like "this changed my toilet cleaning life" LOL - I can't believe something so simple just makes a world of difference and that I never use to do this before watching your videos!

Feeling so motivated after watching. My dog is very nearly 2 and he still sleeps in his cage at night. He runs straight in when I come out the shower and is most happy their at night😊
Love these clean with me videos Emily. Sad I know but cleaning is therapy for me. My small dog sleeps in my bedroom, she’s 8 now and when she was 6 months, I gradually moved her pen from kitchen to landing then my bedroom now she sleeps on a throw on my bed. She’s my shadow and loves to be close to me and I feel the same. ❤
Great house clean, brilliant inspiration, thank you. On the dog crate question, we have a two year old who still sleeps in his crate at night, we call it his den because its his safe place. He goes in there eagerly at around 9:30 and we give him his bedtime biscuit and he's happy there until we come downstairs at 8:30. I sleep better knowing he's safe and happy, so I intend to keep using it. He's also happy in there when we go out for 3 or 4 hours (I have a camera to check)

Out of interest, do you still have a weekly cleaner to keep on top of the house? Do you just have to do top-up cleans in between days?
Kiki obviously loves her crate. It's her cozy little safe place where she feels "all tucked in" and snug. Let her stay in it.
My best friend's dogs are nearly 10 years-old, and they still love their crate at night. They go straight in and are snug as bugs in a rug. :)

I do have a dog, she is for years old now .. she used to sleep with me in the bed but me and my boyfriend decided to buy her a big cage, we put her bed and her bowls inside and now she plays all day long in the yard and in the night she come inside and goes straight to her little home... She actually loved it...
My dog is 11 now and still sleeps in her cage, its their own space where no one bothers them, plus shes been there so long already so she is used to it. Leave her there! Everyone is happy!

We have a cocker spaniel who is now 17 months old and he is still in his crate with no thoughts to take it away from him. It’s his den, his safe place, and it helps to settle him as he has no natural off-switch!! 😂
Great tip on putting the detergent and scent beads in the washer first. Love the cardboard packaging.

Lots of dogs love their crate, it’s a safe and peaceful space for them. I’d say keep using it until she doesn’t like it anymore, which may be never. They’re all different. Mine has slept on or mostly under our bed since she was tiny.
My dog loves his crate it's his bedroom lol he wants to sleep there I think when you crate train them properly they don't feel like it's time out it's like their home!

The crate is a dogs happy place safe and secure so let him stay there my dog is 12 and still uses her crate it's there safe space 😊 xx

My chihuahua has always slept in a pen (open top crate) since he was a puppy but it's been in my room from the start of bringing him home , he's almost two now and sleeps fine x
Dogs like to have their own space, I wouldn't worry about it.
My 5 year old Kiki (yep same name lol) still goes to her crate every now and again. We never close it anymore but she enjoys her space especially given that it's a no kids zone
I would keep the table for Christmas and sale new year. I love the down stairs toilet the colour is lovely 😍

My dog is now 7 but he came out of his crate at 1 then had and still has his own bedroom x I still have to tuck him in at night 😂❤
My 12 year old dog had her crate right up until she sadly died, it was her safe place, she's retreat when she was overwhelmed, if we had visitors, if she wanted to break.she slept in it, doors open, all the time. We never shut the door. She loved her bed, inside her crate. It's good for them.

Emily how did you clean this big beautiful house in one day 🙈 my house is tiny and I can never manage to clean it all in a day. So much motivation and your home is looking so elegant and put together love the accents of black and gold. Our old dog loved his crate it was his little safe space away from the kids too lol were you not tempted to stay on the beam bags after that big clean? Omg the downstairs loo! Can’t wait to see it all 🥰
It is always much more work to clean a small cramped up space than a big emoty space... I know what I am talking about - we have a small flat and three wild children and I never get finished....
@@laurastern1351 hi Laura! Oh I feel you there 😂 I clean one room and my youngest has trashed another as I’m going. I know what you mean, we used to be in a flat and I found it so hard to keep clean once we had my first son, I’d clean up and leave the house just so it stayed clean for a while 😂 trouble was it would be a mess as soon as we got back. Grateful to have children though ❤️ and the mess is just part of the equation. I’ll miss tripping over toys one day (maybe not lego though) 😂x
Hi Emily! I have 6years old shih tzu she always sleeps in her crate and look most comfortable there. She goes in at evening when she see us all getting ready to bed ( around 9-10pm)she is ready to bed too.. then I’m up 6-7am and if she’s up I’m taking her out, and during the day crate is open she still goes there for rest :)
I have a dog and our breeder told us it is best if dogs sleep in a crate at night because they sleep through the night ,our dog is out with us the whole day but at night she goes in her own space her crate she loves it she sleeps well and we sleep well .

Hey hun we have a 18 month old Labrador and I’ve always said he is not allowed upstairs coz of disturbing the children at night and we got rid of his crate when he was around 10 months and just left his bed in the kitchen with the radio on low and a night light and he loves it sleeps all night every night. I couldn’t stand a huge crate in my house any longer lol xx
I have a Havapoo, she is almost 1 year old. i have a cage from amazon and it is beside my bed. she sleeps there with the door of the cage open because sometimes st night she is thirsty or hungry, then she goes in the living room where her bowls are. loved your video xx

Do you have an upstairs family bathroom/toilet. I know your older boys have a shared one and you have an ensuite. You also have a downstairs toilet but what does Jackson do or will he do as he gets older?
We only have 1 bathroom so the thought of keeping 3 or 4 clean is TOO much 😟
Dogs feel safe in the crate. Mine love it in there and they go in it without being asked.
Can you please tell me the name of your colours? Everything matches so lovely and it is such a wonderful warm colour - not an old- fashioed beige and not a maybe cold gray - something perfectly in between.... your walls, tiles and floors are so beautiful...

I wish we could get Fairy cleaning products here in Zambia! I know when I have been to visit my sisters in the UK they use the laundry and dish washing products and I just love the smell, their clothes always smell great, and my kids always comment that the smell makes them think of England!

I would keep the dining table and put it kids play room. So they can to art and drawings when they want. And you can drink coffee and watch them. Because I dream of that dining table is only for food not constant art work 🙃
