Really informative video!! I like how you layout the lighting setup in a deductive way to us; It's clear and understanble for everyone to know the correlation and discrepancies between different setups.
A lighting masterclass many thanks 🙏 I get why you have all that empty space to create depth but for the dialogue did you not struggle with reverb with sound bouncing around off those flat hard surfaces?
It would a bit more complicated. You'd need bigger lights cause they would be further away. And either try to light them seperately or a bigger setup that will work for all of them.
I found this really helpful, If you can advice me, kindly advise me. what is one of the best value for money light I can buy for mainly youtube and a bit of photography. I am totally starting out and I have invested a huge portion of my income in the last month to get camera, lens and mic. Kindly guide me .
One thing I'm confused about is the subject. It seems like you're making a lot of effort on lighting a subject sitting still, but what happens if the subject is a natural mover, meaning, they're animated when they talk. The lighting seems like it would be all over the place in those situations. Do you tell the subject to sit still while talking?
Straight up gold
