      Leyte Gulf and Philippine Sea represent major victories for the US Navy. Bataan was to honor the 100,000+ allied soldiers who took part in the battle and march from Bataan. Go Navy!

    This reminds us of the longstanding kind of friendship and cooperation among many others, between the Philippines and USA. Bataan is a province in the Philippines famous or infamous for its Death March- forcible transfer by Japan Imperial Army of about 80,000 American and Filipino POWs from Bataan to Tarlac via San Fernando, Pampanga during WW2. And yes, the POWs march for more than 100 kilometers for several days which resulted in about 18,000 deaths, combined. Thank you USA.

      Yes including civilians women, men who tried to give the American and filipino soldiers food and water but japanese soldiers stabbed them with their bayonets.

    This new America Class AAS is nearly two thirds the size of the UK's new Queen Elizabeth class carriers and about the same size as everyone else's carriers. Reports out of the Naval War College, Newport suggest that these new AAS class vessels are on the list of ships soon to be fitted with laser cannons.

    Why is there so much rust on usa ships,

    • @justinfrancis6067
      @justinfrancis6067 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A strong possibility is because we don't use lead paint on our ships hulls because of the environmental affects. Most other countries likely use some sort of lead based paint which resist rust better. Also our ships go out to sea more often.
