Ramana says Ahamkara (ego) is the result if imbalance of 3 gunas (Satva,Tajas, Tamas) in your life.
So one has to increase Satva guna, and balance rajas and tamas guna.

I have a couple of questions about Karma and Determinism: 1. When Bhagvan Ramana Maharish's mother saw him after he had left his home, for the first time and pleaded him to come back home, he replied, " The Ordainer controls the fate of souls, in accordance with their destiny, whatever is destined not to happen will not happen, try as you may. Whatever is destined to happen, will happen, do what you may to prevent it." Is this true???
Even the double slit experiment in Physics and other anomalies in Quantum mechanics is said to be explainable only by a "Super Determinism" therory.
2. When someone is intentionally rude or hurts someone is it the Prarabdha of the victim or is it the 'Agami' karma of the perpetrator??? How can one tell the difference? and How does one deal with this.

I think observation is the only way to dissolve ego and observation is a difficult task in general. One practice may be helpful - writing diary everyday with full incidents and emotions of all including myself.

Sir. Is Karma really at the root of everything?? How is that possible in a time living around people with heinous mindset where power speaks!! Poor stands nowhere (just seen it in unnao gal case n wat happened to her close ones) where crime rates are on a peak. We have told in our holy books it is cause n effect(as u sow so shall u reep) like theysay"stealing is arise when there is debt connection bw 2person"! how one could accept it.where stealing is so common every 7 person out of 10got stolen by pocketmaars is dat mean they all have debt wid 1person who robbed dem,mightbe few of dem get robbed twice or thrice n more by d thief working under d same gang like the previous one. N we accept dis way Oh dis was meant to be. I should not object, passing dem courage to do more, otherwise my newkarma will began. It would be my debt to be paid'...... LIKE HOWww????!!!
