Milos was mentioned as an example of staying lean using insulin. But no discussion of Milos way of using insulin, which is strictly fast acting insulin pre and post workout.

Typically 20iu humalog before and after training.

@@ugk26 That dose of Humalog would absolutely kill you... 100%. You have no clue what you are talking about.

@@LandOfTheFree645 You clearly don’t Milos’s protocols. You have to make a 100g carbs like dextrose, cluster dextrin etc and 100% predigested aminos (total fragmentation 250). You slam that immediately.
Then you make another shake, 200g dextrose and the same aminos. You sip that to prevent going hypo.
Then immediately post workout 100g dextrose and 60g whey isolate . Then you eat 30 mins later, no fat high carbs. I’ve run this protocol a number of times over the last 14 years.
Just fyi, you need roughly 8g sugar for every iu of insulin you take. The shakes more than cover that.
Next time you make a statement like that, at least research it first. You’re acting like that would kill you before you could even get the sugar in. You clearly can’t do the math either. You should know how much sugar you need for each iu. You could take 40ius if you covered the sugar necessary to keep you from dying.
If I had a way to contact you, I have a 16 week program he set up for me years ago. I could send it. I actually quit it half way through, it was very difficult especially waking up at 4am to eat.
      Anyway, cheers man!

@@LandOfTheFree645 You’re wrong, you need 8g carbs for every 1iu insulin. The pre, intra and post (100g/200g/100g) workout shakes cover the 40iu. I’ve used this protocol a lot, you’re fine especially if you have an ez click pen. You just turn the dial to the number you want and done.
I cannot train twice a day, but guys that I know do take 20iu before and after each workout. Again, you just need to count the carbs and not overdose yourself like an idiot.

@@ericjames7819 Sorry I didn’t add this before and answer your question in full. It’s 20iu insulin pre post workout. The shakes were pre/intra/post and use dextrose as follows 100g/200g/100g. The key is the predigested aminos. I’m about to hook you the F up, lol. Go buy total fragmentation 250. Fully predigested aminos. They’re in your bloodstream in 20 mins ready to go. That’s the key is making sure you keep from going hypo. So you sip the intra during the entire workout. You can get absolutely massive this way.

Oy would be interesting to see some type of data on bodybuilder insulin resistance after long term use of insulin. Body builders who don't use insulin may be diabetes due to years of stress on their beta cells. Use of insulin may have actually spared those beta cells.
It's true that type 2 diabetics have been producing high endogenous insulin for years that might be causal for their insulin resistance. However, they have also had extremely full fat stores that may be more difficult to fill and contribute to insulin resistance.

Can u make a video on your thoughts on AI”s do u prefer high test cycles with ai or no ai and as much test as u can handle without and ai ? Theirs so much controversy on this

Using an AI will be dumb in an offseason context. Either dont use that high of a test base to begin with or just go along with the water retention and estrogen making you stronger and lubricating your passive structure

It has a short half life unless it's combined with a permeability enhancer like the product suppressor max (1stdetachment.com/collections/all-supplements/products/suppressor-max), so taking it with every meal is good

Carbs turning into fats.... I wonder when somebody gonna educate these trainers on human physiology...And insulin preventing that...well thats on another level.... De Novo Lipogenesis rarelly happens in sportsmen,,,and has efficiency of 10%. You lose 9 out of 10 calories during that process....

Why would one lose sensitivity to exogenous insulin. It takes pressure off the pancreas maintaining insulin sensitivity. Insulin resistance is caused by the beta cells being burnt out

    • @troponinnutrition
      @troponinnutrition  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Sensitivity is at the tissues, not the pancreas. Insulin resistance is due to reduced receptor affinity. There is beta cell dysfunction, but that’s different than insulin resistance.
