The first edition (LOCI4) had a different cover and came without info of any kind, except for a small numbered flyer stating "This is stolen and contaminated songs". Some copies have a paper sticker on the back of the CD jewel box with the band name, album title (with "1991 e.v." underneath), tracklist, an address for World Serpent Distribution and a UPC barcode. The later release changed the titles of all of the songs from this edition, albeit with some only having different punctuation.
Although track one is listed as "Futher" its actual title is supposed to be "Further", as the track is a variation on "Further Back and Faster" from the Love's Secret Domain sister album.
After the final track, there is a short period of silence before a hidden piece, which consists of electronically distorted voices.
An alternate version of "Who'll Fall?" was released as "Is Suicide a Solution?" on the single "Airborne Bells/Is Suicide a Solution?".
The song "Omlagus Garfungiloops" features excerpts of dialogue from the 1990 cult film The Reflecting Skin.

there is such an unspeakable dimension of compassion and serenity behind coil's art, despite, and in, all their darkness, one may say were "broken" beings on some levels, and it was their early end, yet so whole at the same time like almost none of us ever were and ever will be. "is the cage we love, the home we also hate, just this.

I lost interest in buying music in 1977, except for classical and a few I kept following. Then in 1993 a coworker lent me this and I don't even remember what happened after that except I started collecting everything these guys ever recorded. This is one incredible album.

I did the same with legendary pink dots. Glad I didn't go that crazy with coil. That would have been at least another 20 albums more than even the LPD s catalog. I did have how to destroy angels and hellraiser on vinyl. loves secret domain is especially amazing.

My favorite Coil LP since buying the CD in 1993 at Eide's in downtown Pittsburgh. Played this at a number of Acid parties I used to host/attend as a teenager back then. So friggin beautiful. I truly feel this eclectic mix of sonic journeys is Coil's (underrated) masterpiece.
-Who'll Fall is my favorite Coil track. Absolutely the most haunting song I've ever heard.

What happens, what goes through your head, between throwing yourself off, and actually dying? I wondered what you thought of it. Perhaps you could call me and tell me because it would help me, because I have a terrible fear of heights, and for me, just the idea of falling, so far, and being alive... And I just wondered if things go through your head - you know, people that you love, and that, or things that you feel that you should've done - flash before you, but you can't do anything about it. I just wondered what you thought
