Man, rewatching these episodes reminds me of just how damn good season 4 was. Not to say that 5 and 6 weren't awesome as well, they definitely were, but season 4 was just something special. Can't wait to see you guys finish it out and move into the next chapter. (Also, I know everyone's asking for a double drop of 4x21 & 4x22, and as much as I would love that too, I feel like 5x01 & 5x02 would be more suitable to a double drop considering they actually aired as one double length episode. Just look at what's established in Endgame (Which is canon) compared to what we got in AoS. By the rules of Endgame, AoS did nothing, can't change the future, but somehow did, or somehow traveled to an alternate universe's future, which wasn't what the show established. And now we got them traveling back in time? To do WHAT? Change the future? Of what timeline? The writers of AoS are delving into Terminator/X-Men levels of stupidity when it comes to their timelines.

And the season was still despite the flaws beautifully shot, directed and especially acted , so in no way does it really „suck“, there are a lot of worse things out there
Not taking ANYTHING away from any other actors in this show, but Iain De Caestecker is the best actor on this show. My opinion of course but him, Brett Dalton, and Elizabeth Henstridge are my personal top 3 in the show
I'd put Mallory Jansen (AIDA) up there, because she basically managed to play 4 different versions of a character and made every single one of them 100% believable, and the scene where she freaks out in front of fitz is great. And I like how you actually notice the difference in acting quality from season 1 to season 6, especially Chloe Bennet has improved a lot. But yeah Iain is still the best by far
I agree but honestly all the actors in this show are so good. Chloe has improved so much and Ming's performance was amazing in season 4. She played lmd may, possessed may and hydra may flawlessly. Clark, Henry and Natalia had some great moments too in seasons 5 and 6
Mack losing Framework Hope would be like losing his daughter for the second time because the Framework feels like real life to the guy. How can't people not understand that? It's literally if someone just dropped into your room atm from a different reality, telling you to come with him because the whole world is fake. You'd just peace out on your mom, dad, siblings, friends, family, wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/husband?

There is absolutely no difference in the memories they have from the framework and memories from the past that "really" happened. As a result for Mack there would be no difference in taking away/killing the daughter in the framework and having done it in real life.
Gotta love how darkness covered Fitz’s face when he was listening to Jemma & Alistair fighting, then red light when Fitz is calling out for his dead Framework father. And props to Radcliffe ensuring Fitz that he shouldn’t blame himself for what he did before pushing Fitz to the portal, especially since Fitz has the memories of essentially living two entire lives that feel equally real to non-avatars (except Daisy & Jemma) in the Framework.
I don't know why but I'm strangely pleased Suraj remembered Davis's name since it can't have been used much at this point. (Unless it was used earlier in that scene, in which case I rescind my regard.)

The Doctor was dismantling inhumans in the Framework, and studying their powers. I think they were built in to Aida's new body, or maybe it's just Darkhold magic?
I think their individual physiologies were the building blocks and the Darkhold laid out the blueprints for Aida, who/which then built a body for herself/itself.

framework isnt a product of the darkhold. they showed fitz working on it early in the season before the darkhold was ever involved. it was meant to help may train her team without them physically getting the shit beat out of them by may.
for me the best are 4x15, 5x05 and 5x14, for obvious reasons. I liked the season 4 finale, it is my second favorite finale of the show but it was just so fully cramped with stuff going on, you could have made it a 3-part finale with everything that was put in there it was just so much ^^

I'm rewatching rn and every time I watch the scene where Fitz remembers everything that he's done, that he was responsible for Mace and Agnes' Deaths I always tear up. It wasn't him but it was, he made those choices and it wasn't him but he still did it. Iain is such a fantastic actor.
Imagine having the memories of two separate lives within you... and one of those lives was Josef Mengele. Madame Hydra is a major leader of (duh) Hydra in the comics but wasn't originally an android. Likewise, in the comics SHIELD has had a terrible time getting LMDs to stay loyal, and there is an actual Lady Ultron too.
Aida wasn't trying to get rid of the inhumans, she was just giving Anton Ivanov/the Superior what he wanted so that she could work on building her body. Ridcliff wasn't down with killing inhumans either, but again he went along and humored Ivanov so he could get the darkhold.
Yoooo I just realized.... The Patriot mantle passes on from Mace to Trip, just like the mantle of Captain America passes on from Steve to Sam. That's crazyyy!!

The storage shed that the scientists stole The Darkhold from belonged to the Johnny Blaze incarnation of Ghost Rider. Lots of Easter eggs tied to his character were scattered throughout the shed.
Shield Time and I think everyone's quite done with the Framework for the season, time to get out! The Bad Doctor appeals to Radcliffe's desperate pursuit for Immortality Simmons Tracks Papa Fitz, but it goes sideways and Simmons ends up killing his code, which is not gonna make Fitz feel any more compliant towards Simmons Also Trip never betrayed her The Backdoor escape scene is full on heart in mouth though; Coulson shot, Mack not going and Fitz almost killing Simmons before Radcliffe comes in clutch, this is why AoS is the best Marvel TV Show Fitz is awake, but he's also now aware, and it's not easy to live with that. It's a moment of confusion, but it gives Ophelia an opening to escape. Why make just a human body when you could add enhancements? Ophelia's teleport was Gordon's teleporting, they were cutting inhumans open remember Madame Hydra is someone different in the comics, LMDs exist but the concept of AIDA is original to the show

I remember the Darkhold #1 growing up as a teen in the 90s. All I remember is it had to do with the whole Rise Of The Midnight Sons series.
Apparently one of the missing books from the library in the movie was said to be the Darkhold by the producers.

Madame Hydra is a major leader of (duh) Hydra in the comics but wasn't originally an android. Likewise, in the comics SHIELD has had a terrible time getting LMDs to stay loyal, and there is an actual Lady Ultron too.

Aida wasn't trying to get rid of the inhumans, she was just giving Anton Ivanov/the Superior what he wanted so that she could work on building her body. Ridcliff wasn't down with killing inhumans either, but again he went along and humored Ivanov so he could get the darkhold.

Fitz's grief and guilt just gut me. Iain is SO good in those moments, as he tries to process all he'd done. It just kills me.
The framework isn't on a server per se. It uses distributed computing which is why Daisy found the code all over the world on multiple devices, similar to the SETI@Home project except in this case no one is aware of it.

Leaving that aside, I have to say that I'm sad you couldn't understand Mack's reasons to stay in the framework. Yes everything in that world wasn't real but it was for him, his feelings for his daughter were real and also he just found out that that world was a lie, so obviously he was having a hard time accepting it and processing everything and you also need to remember he still didn't have any memory from the real world, so of course it was going to be even more difficult for him, and I'm proud Daisy didn't force him to return. I know is hard to understand, we all wanted Mack back, when I watched it for the first time I was crying so hard in that scene, of course I was not ok with Mack wanting to stay but I understood him, so I got to believe that we were going to lose him, that's another reason why I was crying even more, I wasn't ready to say goodbye!!
Pd: as a native spanish speaker, hearing you try and say words in spanish was kinda cute and fun!! 😁

Simmons Tracks Papa Fitz, but it goes sideways and Simmons ends up killing his code, which is not gonna make Fitz feel any more compliant towards Simmons

The Backdoor escape scene is full on heart in mouth though; Coulson shot, Mack not going and Fitz almost killing Simmons before Radcliffe comes in clutch, this is why AoS is the best Marvel TV Show
Fitz is awake, but he's also now aware, and it's not easy to live with that. It's a moment of confusion, but it gives Ophelia an opening to escape. Why make just a human body when you could add enhancements?

When they first opened the book, the pages were blank, but words and pictures began to materialize as they flipped the pages. Lucy saw the words in English, but Joe saw them in German, possibly because German was his first language.
Using knowledge from the Darkhold, Lucy and Joe founded Momentum Alternative Energy Labs with the goal of building a "quantum particle generator," a machine that can create new matter by channeling energy from other dimensions.

normally love you guys' reactions, but felt that suraj's comment 'i wish this was hbo some times' was really unnecessary and quite disgusting to leave in. mallory jansen does an amazing job this season in her portrayal of her range of characters and reducing that to 'i wish i could see her tits' is just so reductive. i know that nearly all the normies have made comments about certain attractive actors and actresses, but this just felt too far.
