Yes, but not working with those hard walnut shells..use outher soft walnut shells that cover nuts before they ripe.. I do not know about leafs.. Put cream or oil on the skin before coloring, so it makes easier to get rid of staines

@Saryu Reddy, You can mix some peroxide, water, and (real)lemon juice in a spray bottle. Spray your hair till it's wet, but not dripping, and go out in the sun for a few hrs. Whatever color hair you have this will lighten it. When I was a teenager (in the late 60's) there was a product called "Sun In"__spray your hair, hang out at the beach or anywhere in the sun and by the next day your hair is a bit lighter(sun bleached look). The more often you use it the lighter your hair gets. The main ingredients were peroxide and lemon juice. So, I tried the homemade version and it worked the same. You can mix apple cider vinegar and slightly warm water for a rinse after washing your hair(then rinse out in a bit cooler water) and it brings your hair back to the proper ph. 💖😺

Sounds like you have chestnut brown hair color. Henna will bring out more red highlights. But henna is permanent hair color which will not fade out with multiple shampooing but must grow out. 😺

The problem with Henna is that you're stuck with it until it grows out.
You can't color over it or even strip it out. So keep that in mind folks.

try it on a scrap of white cloth first. Some natural dyes give a much different color than you'd think.

Ridiculous. Carrots don't dye or tint hair in any way. Coffee and beets also doesn't work and only specific kinds of tea have any tinting effect.
