Rich, thank you for this video. I could not have possibly summed up my experience and review of this product any better. It’s spot on. From the misleading “sell” to the lead time, to the shortcomings. I think the company is a couple of college kids who found a cheap distributor and knew how to make a website. ZERO information out there to help. Terrible response time. All in all, bummed I didn’t pay a little more for the Plunge.
Yah, that sucks to hear! They are a shell company. The people running the site and the phone have no physical store or product. When you order it goes straight to China and is shipped directly from there. All info I found out after. This is why the waits are so long. There office is less than an hour from me and I offered to drive down there and come see their machines and set ups, but I couldn't bc there is no store. I have been waiting nearly 2 months for a replacement filter and it still has not shipped yet. Very misleading and unprofessional.

After initially ordering, I I received the tub a month later, and didn't receive the chiller for another couple months after that. The chiller came with absolutely no manual or instructions. Nothing on hooking it up or troubleshooting if there's an issue. And after looking on their website and doing research on the chiller, I realized something wild. The chiller I received was nothing like the chiller they advertise, and found other people had completely different variations of chillers. I have extra lines coming from the chiller that are not explainable. I feel like this company was a fly by night company that offered a good deal to dupe folks out of their money. I have no trust and confidence in this company to replace, fix or give any technical support if issues arise with this unit. And of course in BOLD letters "Made in China"
Yup, I ordered some replacement filters 2 months ago and they still have not shipped yet. Every time I email customer support about it, they respond with an email saying that my heater chiller unit is on the way! Just be a little longer. When I respond with, I already have my unit, I ordered filters, I get know response. When I email again the same response comes in and I start the dead end process over again.
Thanks for performing the temperature range test and sharing. Interesting that they don't publish this information when competitors (e.g. the plunge) do.
Had to watch in two parts, but this is a really great review. I LMAO at " What's portable about that???, and "It shipped DIRECTLY from China!" Let's hope it's durable,at least.
Great work putting this video out. I ordered mine before this video came out and share in the huge disappointment. It took months for the tub to arrive and another yet for the chiller. I am still waiting for the accessories. The system had no instructions and the customer service is abysmal. I was stocked when I ordered this tub but man, worst buying experience in years!
Unfortunately for me one of the fittings at the chiller leaks. I emailed support at ice club for help with a pic. And predictably they have not responded. So I have a useless $3000 tub and machine taking space in my back yard
My chiller ran for two days before it broke down. They are not responding to my warranty request to replace the chiller. Do not do business with this company.

Thank you for the excellent review. I've been looking at several samples and this pump is not "self priming". That noise was likely from it running dry until the water made it way into the pump through gravity.

They saw it and blocked my review on their website. Also, I asked to come to their store to have it tested/fixed as their office is only an hour from me but there is no store. They don't actually have any product here for me to trade out with a working one. The 1 year warranty is bs. They item ships directly from China and they never touch it, that is why the delays are so bad and why they switched to a no return no refund policy as well.
I ordered my bath plus chiller around the same time as you and still have yet to get the chiller. Super frustrating and not sure how patient I should be or just call it a 1800 loss.
Buyers beware!! This is a scam company. It took me 3 months to receive my chiller. No instructions on use, maintenance or troubleshooting. It worked for 1 week and now doesn't chill anymore. And wont prime. The company has not responded to any emails. Also the products i received were not what was advertised. I fully regret purchasing from this company. Do your research!!
This ice bath has been an absolute nightmare. I ordered this close to a year ago. Received the chiller two months ago finally but it has a continuous leak on the water out port that I cannot fix. The ozone generator as well leaks. Part of me wishes I just saved the 2000$ and moved on with my life. I feel like we should all make a lawsuit for this bs product and terrible advertising.
@richGraham my female connection on the tub is 1/2” and the female connection on the hose is 3/4”. They sent a male to male piece but it is 1/2” / 1/2” not a reducer like I need. Is this what you received too?
I have one and it is the size of the one that is advertised. I didn’t get a monster like this one. I like mine a lot but I haven’t used any others before. I wish it could go lower than 37 but I haven’t had any problems with it except I used hard water the first time I filled it and clogged the filter in less than 3 weeks lol but yeah the company is sketchy. They were dishonest and non-responsive
I ran into the same issue with my filter. I ordered a 6 month maintenance kit which includes 6 filters back in Nov. when they had a sale. It has been nearly 2 months since I placed that order and they still have not shipped it yet. I have reached out to customer service multiple times with no help from them.

I have it all set up but my chiller isn’t as big as yours and it’s a different style. I have one hose connected to the ‘water in’ on the tub to the water outlet on the chiller and the other hose connected to ‘water out’ on the tub to the water inlet on the chiller. Is that correct? Also, I read that I need to prime the chiller? Not quite sure how to do that.
Can you just wedge the control unit in the middle of the tub between intake and output hoses? Why does it matter that the hoses cross? Seems like a picky, insignificant point. Then again, you wanted it parallel, so you're "hosed" (no pun intended) either way.
I did speak to IceBath.Club about these issues I was having and they said that the unit might not be running right bc of the hoses and asked me to try switching is to it was red to green and green to red (which makes no sense in color coating lines, think of the back of your tv audio/video cables) so I did so and it made zero difference at all. Although it did allow for a little better fit and finish in being able to adjust the tub into a better position in the space. It is a small detail, compounded with all the other issues it annoyed me more than it would have alone.
Since I have been running the machine my electric bill has gone up on average of $100 per month. It takes a lot of energy to keep that thing cold. Another misleading claim that it is insulated. The bottom that touches the ground and the cover are not insulated well at all the an the side walls are just air like a inflatable stand up paddle board. So the machine has to work very hard almost all day long to hold a temp. If I turn the machine off with in a few hours the temp will rise from 40F pack up to 70F.
It says it is for indoor or outdoor use, but it is hard to tell bc they have been so f.o.s. on so many other things. I do have mine outside under a pavilion out of the rain.

This is the shadiest company I have ever dealt with. I received my tub in 7 weeks and my chiller 4 months later. They have terrible customer service. They rarely answer emails or return phone calls. Their Instagram is shady because you can’t see the comments on any of the posts which I’m sure will be nothing but complaints. Also the chiller and fittings are so low quality that they leak all the time and won’t cool the water. False advertisement and low quality material delivered directly from China.

No, even if it is just cold and water if filtering so one line is the feed and the other is the return.

Whats the electricity bill like for you? Did u see an ozone attachment come with yours? Instructions were kind of lacking
