I grew up in the Boston area in the late 1930's and 40's and the 50's........I've seen every historic site and saw them without paying a single penny.......A trolley ride to anyplace around and in Boston was just a nickle......Small stores on every street were selling cold drinks, candy, coffee, potato chips, peanuts, popcorn, and hot dogs all for 1 nickle apiece....Paychecks weren't big, but when you paid 25 dollars a month rent, there were many NICKLES leftover to enjoy living.....I really miss those days and I go without because my SOCIAL SECURITY doesn't go very far......I'll be 90 years old next year. I hope that everyone enjoys a long life like I did....Love to you all.
@theratrace999 nah I live in Boston moved here from nyc and no regrets. Massachusetts #1 in Education, Healthcare, jobs ,very low crime nonexistent great place to raise family
Thanks for the shout-out and I 'kinda miss the Boston area and now live on the SOUTH SHORE. My first girlfriend's DAD lived on BEACON ST in one of those old brownstone mansions near MASS. ave and many times I had to go there to pick her up and take her to movie theatre near BOYLSTON st. Have a good day.
Beautiful, clean city. I have never been there. It looks better than New York. Thanks for sharing. All as you see today is a lot of depression in those big cities.
I grew up in Boston (born in 1973), left to see the country and the world after turning 27, and now I can't wait to return - lol. Boston is like a Goldilocks and the Three Bears situation... It's not as big and scary as NYC, not as small and insignificant as many main southern and midwestern cities... it's just right! lol New England, in general, is just a lovely and unique part of the U.S., and I've found that most people who hail from the region are more intelligent and have more common sense than the rest of the country! Wish me luck!
Being from New England myself. I agree... love Boston, it's better than NY in my opinion.. not that NY is bad, but I just like Boston better. New England in general has great scenery, plus the four seasons and beaches...can't beat it.
Awesome!! Thanks. I lived in Downtown Crossing for 4 years,,,,,,A few years ago. I loved it. I never had a problem. The area and the people are fantastic! 🥰🥰🥰
Hello! I took a virtual tour of Boston for the first time. For the first time I learned what the city looks like. It seemed to me that Boston was more like a European city. There are not as many skyscrapers as in New York, so it looks very cozy. And the people are no different from the people in Ukraine. I'm watching from Kyiv. Thank you very much for this walking tour. Great job. Especially at night!🤝😍
We thoroughly enjoyed watching the scenery of Boston Downtown, USA, my friend! The city's beauty was truly mesmerizing and captivating. Thank you for sharing this amazing experience with us! 👍👍
I'll tell you something. I LOVE the great people from IRAN but your leaders are leading your country and mine into a war that neither one of us want. We have been great friends with the Jews all over the globe, but the Muslim people hate them and they keep launching missiles . Stop launching missiles and kidnapping and killing and raping Innocent Jews and return the hostages and the war will end. Palestine let the Hamas take over that country and now they are paying dearly for it. I'm 90 years old and I'D like to see the world in peace instead of War, War, War. All this is my opinion right or wrong. STOP the HATE.
If you visit, book a hotel outside the city close to the commuter line. You'll save a bit of money, and there are some good restaurants just outside Boston proper.
That’s amazing! 🌟 Keep working hard, and with your determination, you’ll make it to Boston next year. Use this motivation to fuel your studies and stay focused on your goal. Remember, every small step you take brings you closer to your dream. Sending you all the best from here-Boston will be waiting for you! 📚✈️💪
Congratulations on the video, it was excellent, Boston is a wonderful city, I hope to visit one day. I started a channel here on TH-cam recently and record in the same way here in Brazil. I signed up, I will follow you from now on. A big hug !!!🙂
I'm Kenyan, hoping one day to fly overseas. I've made one observation, Boston is quiet and orderly. If you are planning to visit Kenya😅 prepare for chaotic traffic in Nairobi City😂 i tell you for a fact that place is crazy, the public buses are chaotic, we call them nganya.
Thanks for sharing! It's so interesting to hear about Nairobi's vibrant energy and those iconic *nganya*! 🚐✨ They sound like a whole cultural experience on their own, with the music, art, and unique vibes. Boston may be quiet and orderly, but it sounds like Nairobi has a charm that's loud and full of life. I’ll definitely keep the traffic chaos in mind if I ever visit! 😅 Thanks for the heads-up, and I hope your dream of flying overseas comes true soon! 🌍✈️
What surprises me is the lack of panhandlers, homeless people, loud obnoxious rap music, troublemakers and overall pains in the ass. I've never been to Boston but I am determined to visit soon. Great video.
It all depends where your at in the city, we have our on little kensington called mass ave stay as far away from there as possible, and the ghettos are south about 20-30 minutes away, i recommend staying even farther from there as can be.
There is a huge underground parking lot below the Boston common. There is also a very large multi-story parking garage in Government center close to faneuil Hall. Those are good ones for tourists. Otherwise, park your car at one of the suburban stations and take the T into the city. The suburban parking lots fill up quickly on the weekdays.
My only visit to the USA so far was back in 2000, when I flew to Boston from Brussels. I was very excited to cross the pond and finally meet the USA. Long story short, Boston felt very European to me. I didn't feel like I was in the "real" USA. As a Dutchie, I live quite close to Amsterdam, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt etc. These cities feel quite alike to be hounest. London is not that far as well, and I guess Boston feels more like Dublin where NYC is more like London.
No, NYC is not like London at all. Although both are big major cities, NYC doesn't have the European flavor that Boston has. Although I am from Boston and love it, I understand your disappointment with it. Most Europeans want to experience something very different - I'd recommend Miami, Las Vegas or maybe LA.
Driving is a PIA! But if you are able to walk the BEST!! Old streets meant for a time long before automobiles! ARRRGGG! Boston City Hall!!! The most horrific building in all of New England!
i thought i accidentally clicked on a china walk video at first but i was sure i clicked on a boston vid. fr though their cities are also very modern. even futuristic.

Beautiful downtown Boston 1:20 to 42:10 and brick building, very harmonious.

One question though, if we go to Boston .. where do we park our cars at?
Boston is an old city, most of the parking is few buildings
Parking garages throughout the city; but it is expensive
