Thanks for the view.. Can the pressure power steering hose to the steering box be replaced (R-53 S 6 speed) with the subframe still in the car? I did the return side easily but can't see how the pressure side comes out.
Ha ha, I recognized your voice, I think you have another channel, too. This kind of view is useful to give an internal view of hidden components we often can only feel. I came here in a search for the cause of a low resistance short to ground on the D-bus pathway of a gen 1 mini. To my surprise, it does not disappear when I disconnect one module at a time on the bus, so it must be a bus wire shorted to ground, somewhere. So, now I am on to the painstaking task of tracing those wires. By the way, there is a center splice on that D-bus pathway that is shown in the wiring diagram but not labelled on the OEM service manual. Have you come across that splice in any of your repairs? It would be so much easier to begin the search from there....
