I've read it in lots of places that the lowest line is actually the max fill line for when the power steering fluid is cold - the higher up level line is the max line when the fluid is hot

You mußt open the filler cap,because it can be stocked inside the tube to the cooling reservoir

You should show how to purge the air from the system as although there may be water in the bottle there may be an air block in the system which you drain by using the the two drain plugs Hence why minis blow there head gasket

Thank you so much. I guess it's on that side because that's the driver side on British models of cars. On mine, 2007 mini hardtop, it's on the left side(USA drivers side). I never would have thought to look for the secondary hood latch on the side. Most other cars have it in the middle. Thanks for fixing my ignorance.
