lol at this point I want some sort of tranquilliser gun that will eventually knock out the enemy you hit it with for non lethal takedowns and bounties that need to be brought in alive. It would be cool if you could hit them in a similar fashion to the tranquilliser gun in Metal Gear Solid where if you are stealthy and get a headshot, they instantly go to sleep but if you hit them in the body they can fight for a while before the drug kicks in and knocks them out. They need to make EM weapons and other non lethal tactics way more feasible, if only for the bounty missions.
I never really use shotguns unless I have no choice, but if this mod was free it could get me to possibly use shotguns more. The armor piecing one is cool and the most useful, and the yeah the totally overkill one is the cryoshot but it should be more like it slows them down or only freezes them for about 2 seconds and then it wouldn’t be soo overpowered.
Paid mods with bugs is dang near unacceptable in my book, especially when i have a couple unpaid mods that get researched and patched as soon as the issue is brought up. Ive had conversations with mod authors, stated an issue and had a hot patch in 4 hours. I appreciate anyones time and effort, but its crazy to me ive had better results from someone doing this for fun over someone who is doing it for money. And ill take a shotgun cqc over a "smg" style rifle or rifle, but this mod just doesnt do it for me. Thanks again for another great review and saving us all some money
I like that the author is trying to expand the lore/utility of shotguns. I just don't see where I need (or want) any of this stuff. The game's difficulty is manageable as is and, IMO, if you dial up to Extreme then install a bunch of power creep mods, you're not really playing on Extreme. Use the settings to your benefit. Not to be rude, but I wouldn't even load this mod up if it was free.😊
There’s really something going on with the audio of guns and mods. I can never tell what’s going to do it and no one can seem to figure it out for the Star Wars guns. SKK fast new game start did it to me too one way or another. Really hoping that gets figured out.
I kind of like shotguns for boarding ships. With the recycler mod you can have something stupid like OIP with slugs. This mod is a little like a solution looking for a problem IMO.
Like, 12 ng+ in less than a week kinda breeze. Would be faster if I wasn't worried about getting materials needed to upgrade gear thru darkstar manufacturing mod. But I need that because I'm running minium enemy level 100%, so the temple fight can be kinda rough without good gear
So just getting gear, skipping main missions, hoovering up the artifacts and the final fight, I average about 4-5 levels every run thru. Plus, selling everything I snatched along the way nets anywhere from 200k - 700k credits per run
Considering there's a mod on Nexus that allows you to have the first in every single skill there is . I think it's called Experienced . I personally don't think any mod is worth paying for unless it's literally a DLC sized quests and more .
