If you select "Percentage Offset", as you did, Maxwell creates a box with dimensions that are relative to your model's dimensions. Thus, it does not want to take the measurements in mm. I think the values 50 is the percentage of the model's measurements that is selected for offset. If you want to give Maxwell an absolute value like "50mm", you must select the option "Absolute Offset"
