I grew up in Torrance, West Torrance to be exact. Lived on W. Carson St. went to West high Joined the army in 84 right after graduating from West. I kind of Miss it at times. But now retired on Mississippi Gulf Coast. I love it here and it is my home now.
RAT Beach stands for Right After Torrance and Wilderness Park is in Redondo. Downtown Torrance is in the very east part of the city and no part of the city borders Carson. The central part is near City Hall.
There is the King’s Hawaiian 🌺 that’s all that matters 😊 . . . . and there’s no other branch anywhere in L.A. County except a store where you can pick up during holidays 😂 cause the main store is packed for pick up they had to convert the parking lot to pick up goodies.

We left Torrance in 1976, average price for an older home was 40k. I wished we could afford to keep it and rent it out 😢
