      I drive Honda Amaze, when comparing that to this, this is feels cheap quality materials.
      If you ignore that, considering EV, still this Tiago EV is waste of money. As 1% gives only 1-1.5k range on Bangalore city. Any one taking test drive, can easily make out for 1% how much range you can get and what will be for 100%.
      Please stop promoting paid Tata EV cars and genuine work towards public. "Vocal on Local to make Local fool"!

    One small correction. EVs are not automatic. They're gear-less. One level better than automatic. Because automatic cars have gears which are changed by solenoids but they have gears. EVs have no gear. Just one single drive or you can call it a single gear car because it gets max torque right at 0 rpm. So, it doesn't need multiple gears. That's why EVs are smoothest . Like an aircraft which has no gears. Even the best petrol automatics have gear-shift jerks. But not EVs because they have no gears. This is the single biggest reason to buy EVs.

    Hey plug in india team. Had a small question. Looking for your opinion.
    Looking to replace our 9 yr old Diesel duster with an EV and Nexon didn’t interest me because of the size. I was looking for a smaller car. Now with the Tiago ev we’re considering getting the Tiago LR. The car will be 99% used in the city. I’m in no hurry to replace the duster and so I was wondering if it’s a good idea to wait for the Punch EV and any idea when it’ll be launching?
    I’m afraid that since were so used to the duster the small Tiago hatch might be a bit too small for us slightly plus sized family of 4. The punch if it comes out in EV looks to be a good and balanced product but the Tiago seems no less. I took a test drive and loved it actually. But was wondering what you would recommend doing if you were in my position

    • @RahulJha-mc6nz
      @RahulJha-mc6nz ปีที่แล้ว +3

      if you dont have any problem with duster i will suggest to continue duster till 2025 as there will more car launch in next 2 year , in under 15lacs so just wait

    • @pluginIndia
      @pluginIndia  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hey Suraj,
      Tata team did tell us that they will keep some gap after the Tiago.ev launch.
      So the next launch could be after July this year. Definitely wait and check out the new car too if you want more space.
      But we are biased. We like small electric cars. when it comes to hatchbacks vs compact SUV = we always will prefer hatchbacks. We just have so much more fun on a hatch than any SUV. The Tiago.ev is just nimbler, manoeuvrable, zippier and no extra space of the Nexon can give that feeling!
      Keep us posted on what you do.

    • @surajmadhu-techgobbler
      @surajmadhu-techgobbler ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@pluginIndia everyone at the TATA showroom says that the punch will come only next year and nothing else this year 🥲 which is why I’m wondering. But in any case. We’ll wait till end of this year and make a decision. And you’re right the Tiago was actually really easy to handle and a perfect city car. I’m just not a fan of it’s dated looks 🙈 especially since we tend to keep cars for 9-10 years minimum always.
      I’m hoping the punch retains most of the same handling with the slightly modern appeal. Current wait times for Tiago are 4-5 months as well.

    • @pluginIndia
      @pluginIndia  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Agree. The Tiago’s design could have been updated.
