Pity that your team mates are taking hits to the centre so easily. The early game struggles are real.
The Solaris Urbies are the reason I tend to not do Light arena missions. Light Rifle, PPX, and small lasers is more like something you’d see on a medium or even some heavies. Oh and they’re clocking over 100kph with supercharges with obscene armor. Absolutely busted.
Baradul, change the salvage parts back to 5 parts, otherwise you would need a month's worth of videos nust to get a new mech from the missions. Also, while a week late: May the Larp be with you!
I think going for mech parts just for its equipment is not optimal. Unless it`s a mech that you wanna run. 1) It's a gamble, since the mech will be damaged, especially w/o the ship upgrades 2) It`s quite expensive to remove clan equipment, especially weapons and endosteel. I used to go for whatever good equipment I could get from the salvage table (legging the mechs helps). That said, back when I played with the clan mod, it was giving me just tier1 weapons when assembling a mech. Seeing that Mongoose, listed with tier5 weapons, might change my opinion about what`s the better choice...
lategame when you have spent millions upgrading your dropship parts is the best way to get gear and money, before that take whole mechs if you can and go for money items if you dont
I feel like 8 shares is a bit too much, 6 sounds way better due to it being the amount of "tabs" you actually have ingame but what i really like is how close you are riding to your limit. Bara-broke is a lifestyle^^
in 4v4 light matches dont bring other mechs gives you a better control over the combat and also doesnt risk your money on blown cores. also never run locusts they are just a way to loose engines (armor is paper thin) btw adding 2 heatsinks to the panther that is undertonaged might make it less an oven and more of a sauna. ps running bruised pilots increase the chance they get injured or that they get a negative trait.
Cram ppc-x on everything, top it off with heatsinks, thank me later. Also why not command your lance more? If you tell them to stay at a location, they won't charge everything. F1+F3 is your best friend!
@@Specter-wt1wt what I have noticed is that the AI is fine with staying somewhere or going somewhere, but gets totally lost when it's trying to follow you. Ever since I've changed my command style from follow to point and click, I actually started to have way more fun with my lance!
@@bjorntrollgesicht1144 yeah, the 'follow me' option is fine for a when you are going full speed forward towards enemies, but starts to fail if you start doing evasive maneuvers since your lancemates will try to 'stay in formation' before really engaging. and this behavior is probably one of the biggest grippes most people have with the ai
@@cranberrysauce61 When I want to charge, I point my guys to go near the enemy and then approach freely on my own from a slightly different angle. @@bjorntrollgesicht1144 yeah, im an extensive user of "attack my target" to guide the ai to target prio targets. i probably should use F3 command more for battlefield missions and some other

That Vindicator in the 1st arena had Inferno LRMs and hit you multiple times with it, thats what spiked your heat.
jupp two salvos hit him while he was riding the redline, for massive internal damage due to overheat
Wow nice little Urby mini boss fight. 7:40
I love how YAML did Urbies ^^ It's my favourite mech of all

"The locust was cored already? What?" Op-For was a Locust 1E with 6 medium lasers, not your typical Locust on Locust fight :)
putting the ppc x on the panther seems like a no brainer.
it is to hot without a double heatsink kit, but yes
What a tight start. This is why I love the early game.
The old mech commander voice lines in the mod is awesone!

yeah iwas like holy macaroni bara going for really hard this time lol its nice to collect those 50+ salvage points for 1 parts later game lol
8 shares are equal to 1 share per component so it's basically "get 1 leg here, 1 arm there and so on". :)
@@ALivingDinosaur Ah wait, do you mean that there's also one share each per side torso?
I genuinely missed those. thanks.

it also makes them way better at actually shooting at the enemy, not trying to stay in formation instead of firing their weapons like idiots
