I just love how often in interviews and whatnot the players say the EXACT same phrases TJenkins uses when he talks about their points of emphasis. You can tell the players and coaching staff are both on the same page, and it's why top to bottom guys are playing the right way.
This team has that culture. Nobody left behind, the stars not letting their egos get in the way.. they're looking at the "big" teams out there and learning what not to do👏

Instead of bringing in FIVE rookies this off season the Grizzlies should have targeted maybe one rookie and used the rest of those picks as assets to package for vets. A team that wants to be considered a rival of the world champion Golden State Warriors needed to bring experienced vets not FIVE f'n rookies.

The season starts in a few days...the Grizzlies had an entire off season to bring in some experienced vets who were ready to play from day one yet they didn't...instead they brought in FIVE rookies and elevated the role of a second year project (Santi Aldama) who didn't even prove he belonged to be in the league his rookie season. Ja is a top 5 player in this league so that alone will make the Grizzlies win a lot of games but he got ZERO help from management this off season to make his job easier.
