The book is "Aux Bonheur Des Dames" it's by Zola and it's a French classic. As a woman born in Paris but who lived all over the world, I totally understand the necessity to prep a beauty visit. And I completely agree with everything in the video.

It is such a personal thing. And nothing is better than running into an old acquaintance who says "I smelled a fragrance the other day and it reminded me of you."
Fantastic video. Thank you Andrea. It felt like a tour in my heart and life (somehow). Each places shown in this video are a staple in Paris. Although I must say, as a born and raised true Parisian, I go to Le Bon Marché not only for the selection but for the atmosphere, mostly. My grandma used to work there when she was young. It has always been like this place where I feel my heart belongs with. There is something special and unique there. The client service is phenomenal. The building is crazy beautiful. There is a sens of peace when I go there on a Sunday morning, wandering in the alleys, drinking wonderful cafe with a Pâtisserie at La Grande Épicerie. It’s my HQ for sure even though, I can’t afford to buy clothes there, I always still manage to buy one or two luxury crazy pair of shoes every year………and beauty stuff, OF COURSE. I’ll be there in my fifties and more if I’m lucky. For sure.

Is quite hard to live in Paris, is beautiful, but more than 7 months during the year you don't see the sun so you easily get depressed, prices are really expensive for everything, rent, restaurant etc. Either you have a lot of money, or you will suffer in Paris, people are not friendly at all. People live in horrible conditions that you will never imagine.
Evalle, I believe you! Andreea is showing us the luxurious side of Paris. Even Hawaii has a tremendous homeless population. So many people in this world suffer unspeakable tragedies and such bad living conditions. We should be so very thankful to God our Father for every blessing He gives us!
