Good point about larger stakes for bigger trees, better angles, and using the right size of ratchet for the job. Good video.

I had a similar situation, I used a water jet to break up soil all the way around the tree for a couple feet. I pulled it straight with my come a long and let the soil dry out and the tree has remained straight, I will be putting in stake to make sure it stays that way.

Up to 6 minutes this is the best straightening video I've seen!! however It's likely you are going to need to cut through some of the backside roots holding it. tben hope for a buddy to stop by or more likely need two straps or come along to pull the tree upright then use your smaller strap to attach it to your smaller stake.
I have the problem of Matre's leaning away from the fence planted it 5' away and have absolutely no room!!!
but like this guy.. I'm gonna subscribe

So we just watched your entire video and now want to know how did the tree turn out. We looked for the promised update video but nowhere to be found. Did the tree live or have to be taken out?

This guy's great...your struggles with ADD are not his problem. Here's a link that might suit you better: add.org/ By the way, ever since the demise of the VHS tape, we have a nifty little thing called random access. So here's a little known high-tech tip: if bored or unsatisfied, you can always click forward in a video to whatever floats your boat.
