What's your opinion on Dragite in the extra deck? Do you summon it often, or are there better options out there? I think both it and End Punisher are flex options people run, but I'm not sure how often either of thise come up. Nice plays btw!
tbh both don't come up often, and while i used PEP some rare times to crack boards going second, i still couldn't find a suitable situation for dragite yet, i'm just looking for an excuse to use my royal dragite, thank you for the nice comment and welcome!
Dunno what you’re talking about. Ever since Runick-Whatever and Lab decks got so common, I find myself using Dragite *constantly* . I favor it so much, that when I needed to cut something for PEP, Berserker lost out to Dragite. Dragite’s also great in the mirror, and has high utility against any janky deck you encounter that has a Spell bottleneck of some kind, like say Nadir Servant for a DM OTK without a great draw, or Branded Fusion back for the umpteenth time. Not really sure I’d call PEP a flex card either. There’s so many non-targeting banish effects, send effects, and fuse-away removal, an Unaffected monster is sometimes your only hope.
@shawnpanzegraf5642 dragite won't win you those matches going second. If those decks gets going a single dragite won't change the tide. Also not often you can afford to have moye in gy. It's very gimmicky.
@@Jester-15 Ehh, personally I still see more value/reason to summon Dragite more often than Berserker. I agree that neither Dragite or Berserker are my most common summons, but Dragite is the more useful of the two.
Personally, I find examining what resources must be invested to generate on-field effect(s), to be more productive than considering the effects in a vacuum. To get a Chenying, you generally need a Longyuan + 1 other card pitched to special and generate the tuner-token. You need the Blackout to actually combo, which nearly always requires either generating an extra draw-effect, like Mo Ye’s sent-to-GY effect, or utilizing Chixao’s search-effect. However you do it, you’re spending a bare minimum of 4 cards to get those 2 pops, 1 field-banish, and 1 GY-banish. Compare that to 1 unlimited Lightning Storm and 1 Semi-Limited Raigeki. IMO, “Broken” cards tend to be cards that give a lot more than they cost (Like Skill Drain costing you 1 card and 1,000 LP to shut down the effects of every monster brought on-field), or might cost a lot of deck/ED-resources, but those resources are zero-effort to access (Like making one Zoodiac Xyz monster that Xyz’s into the next Zoodiac 1-for-1, until you have a Zoodiac Drident that’s “supposed” to cost 4 Lvl-4 monsters to make, but only really cost you the 1 Lvl-4 you started the Xyz-ing chain with.)
I really enjoy watching your channel, because I'm also a swordsoul player :33
It's a deck I enjoy alot but not the only one I play. Welcome!
don't roast me too hard for not imperming moye @5:53 i'm a multitasking alt tab gamer.

@@Jester-15 Haha, makes sense, if I had a royal finish I would look for any excuse to run it too. Thanks for replying and keep up the good work 😁

Chengying is broken if you have black out and target him, banish to protect. You get to pop 2 with black out keep chengying and banish 2...
