- In this Pokemon cards opening I searched for the original rainbow Charizard Pokemon card inside a burning shadows booster box. If we can pull it and grade the card in a PSA 10 it's worth almost $3,000.

Realizing that Burning Shadows was released almost exactly when there was a solar eclipse across the US. Maybe that influenced the name? 🧐🧐

You need to do more openings of these kindve sets. Everyone’s been burning through the vintage sets. XY and Sun and Moon haven’t been opened much. I’d love to see Team Up and Cosmic!
Cosmic is my all time favourite Sun and Moon set for sure!

Agreed. Some the Wizard of the Coast sets such as Base Set, Jungle and Fossil have been opened up to death
@@shaneowens5459 Honestly, i dont even get excited from the original 3 sets anymore. Have seen them being opened soo much, 1st edition and unlimited. The only one I get truly excited about are shadowless cards. Because you don't always know for sure if you got a box of them, unless you have a trained eye and know what to look for on a pack or box. Plus I like the aesthetic more of shadowless cards compared to 1st edition. They look so clean with the light hue color and being empty along the borders.
This was the set that got me back into Pokemon in 2019. Bought two boxes for $220 not knowing how ridiculously tough chase cards are to pull from modern sets, got a Rainbow Machamp with frayed edges out of one, and no secrets out of the other. Went online and realized how naïve I was thinking I had a shot at the Rainbow Zard out of my two boxes, not to mention 2018 Burning Shadows cards are cut terribly. So I went ahead and purchased a PSA 10 Rainbow Zard for $700 and I’m so glad I did. Nowadays the only reason I would open up a booster box or two (and no more than two) is if I want a master set and I need commons/uncommons/reverse holos anyway.
This is a really cool way to do an opening, I’d love to see more videos like this. Any set.
I would love to see a box opening of either lost thunder, celestial storm, or forbidden light. Those are 3 sets i never opened much of and i feel like theyre kind of forgotten
$180 worth of value. Also, Cosmic Eclipse, Team Up, Unbroken Bonds etc would be cool to see opened up! Edit: Unified Minds, Furious Fates, Fates Collide, Forbidden Light, Ancient Origins, Phantom Forces and Roaring Skies, just to name a few we would like to see

Priceless my guy!! The heart pounding just from opening up a BB like that is worth more than any single card you’ll pull!
If I want my heart to pound I'll smoke a few bowls. Much cheaper as well.
Prediction before watching: $500, I'm optimistic!
After watching: still nice to see these older artworks haha! Personally I would love to see some hidden fates opened, no booster box though maybe 3 or 4 ETBs?
Like this video style. Any sun and moon sets are great choices with them getting a bit more expensive. Fun to measure it’s sealed vs it’s pulls before it becomes more vintage.
I’ve always liked and collected Pokémon then I stumbled across your channel and I was probably 6 videos deep when my 5 year old daughter came over and asked what I was watching so I had her watch the last couple minutes of your video I was watching and she asked if we could watch another video so I put on a 3 hour stream and whenever she had to use the rest room or get a snack she asked to pause the video and she started asking after that first live I showed her if we could get a box of cards. Now I am currently buying a booster box of Fusion Strike because it’s cheap. But she is so excited. Thank you for the enthusiasm and helping me get my daughter into something I’ve been into sense base set. You are the man PokéRev!

I’ve always wondered what set originated the rainbow card. Of course it started with the granddaddy of them all Charizard. I would expect no less. What an awesome set!

I remember ripping heaps and heaps of burning shadows back in the day looking for that rainbow zard. Never did end up pulling it, I remember how brutal the pulls in this set are too. Like if you don't hit it, it's pretty much gg no re.

Burning shadows is definitely a fun set to open up. I'd say you'll get just under the 400$ value of what the box costs though.

I only bought one artwork set of Burning Shadows packs (so 4 packs total), wanted to keep them sealed and after a week or 3 I changed my mind, opened them up and got the rainbow zard.
One of the best moments ever.
I really like to see a Flashfire or Primal Clash, or maybe Phantom Forces! XY was pretty great!
Value wise, I think about $340 for a $-60 total value

Sun and Moon Era Was and Still Have The Hardest Pull Ratio For Booster Boxes and yet the value of the raw cards in Sun and Moon are way LE$$ then Sword and Shield Era. Crazy!

I think the value will be around 300-350$ so a little bit less then the booster box value. It´s really hard except with ultra expensive cards to get the value back

Estimate it's $345. Honestly I came back into collecting Pokemon cards my first burning shadows pack I pulled the rainbow zard Christmas of 2020
The GX pulls i have ever gotten from this set weren't much of value but i would say possibly half its value

In total ive opened around 20 booster boxes worth of this set, and actually wasnt really even close to completing the master set. I finally did pull the zard last year from some packs laying around… but its crazy because i never pulled a gold energy outta around 800 packs, some of the worst pull rates are from this very set

Haven't had much pleasure for opening the SM series, but my stepson pulled a Charizard & Braixen GX from Cosmic Eclipse the other day. So much fun for him and me both. (Also guessing you come in around $300 on this box prior to watching.)

It is worth it to open... I pulled the Rainbow Charizard out of a Gardevoir tin at Rite Aid. 1 Burning shadows pack and pulled it. Before that the past 4 years I tried getting it i've probably opened 100+ packs
That Charizard has been my favorite card ever since I pulled it It took years...
