The game is now awesome. I don't get the hate at this point. You can buy the game on sale for 15 bucks or get it free on console and get HUNDREDS of hours out of it. I have well over 1000 hours and still play it and I haven't spent a cent in the game and have no issues. People just never let it go.

I played new vagas. I like fallout 4 better. I like the settlement build system. I like to tinker with it, although it can be frustrating. I don't have the lonesome road DLC. I'll put it on my list. I've been playing elder scrolls online, recently...

The game series takes place in a post-nuclear-apocalyptic United States about 200 years after a nuclear war had obliterated human civilization. The first two games (Fallout and Fallout 2) are set in the western United States where civilization has made somewhat of a comeback with two countries having successfully formed: the democratic New California Republic and the dictatorial Caesar's Legion. Then Bethesda Game Studios, the developer of The Elder Scrolls, took over the IP and the next few games (Fallout 3 and Fallout 4) were set in the eastern United States where civilization hasn't come back at all and it's still an open anarchic wasteland. Well, this coming week Bethesda is releasing the next Fallout game, Fallout 76, which is a prequel to the other games and takes place right after the nuclear war in West Virginia. They've been using Country Roads as their main marketing theme for the game.

Hah, this was cool. I mainly just really like the cover of this song (love John Denver!), but the video is amusing. I'm pretty sure I missed a bunch of in-jokes related to the game, since I don't play -- including the use of this song, beyond what you said at the end of the video about WV -- but it was still cute and funny with my extremely vague knowledge of the game.
The game DOES take place in West Virginia, but the real reason Pete did this song for the game was because this song played in the announcement trailer for Fallout 76.

Great song. Fun fact. I graduated from WVU almost 30 years ago. I believe this is still true today. Walk into a bar in Morgantown (home of WVU) and start singing Country Roads and EVERYONE will stop what they are doing and join in! Amazing.

Hah, this was cool. I mainly just really like the cover of this song (love John Denver!), but the video is amusing. I'm pretty sure I missed a bunch of in-jokes related to the game, since I don't play -- including the use of this song, beyond what you said at the end of the video about WV -- but it was still cute and funny with my extremely vague knowledge of the game.

Great song. Fun fact. I graduated from WVU almost 30 years ago. I believe this is still true today. Walk into a bar in Morgantown (home of WVU) and start singing Country Roads and EVERYONE will stop what they are doing and join in! Amazing.
