Drones have been used like this or for other artistic elements like video and photography for years. The drone show at the Olympics made this one look amateur at best

these guys are insane, you don't know how difficult it is to synchronize the drones so precisely to form a shape, Simon made the right decision in giving them the Golden Buzzer🎉🎉

you think it was done live? I think they created a flight simulation and for the audition they only had to pressed the ''play'' button so to speak, and the drone would arrange themselves automatically.

It's a simple program...those drones are just slaves and all are GPS synchronized.
This was amazing even watching it on my little computer screen. I wish I could have seen it live because it must have been extraordinary!

I think this season of AGT is bringing back the interest for me. Every golden buzzer so far has been for regular people without sob stories, and with unique acts (other than Richard but let’s be completely real here, he 1000% deserved it), and I think that’s what the show should be about in the first place. Ordinary, regular people getting that American dream life change. I think this season is going to revive the show for a lot of people judging by how different and deserving the golden buzzers have been.
i would like to believe this is true; however, i still see a lot of singing contestants going through and winning the golden buzzer. I love agt but it's getting repetitive. i can see this group going far but will they have a chance to win among the crowd of singers, we shall see.

Just to let you guys know in case you are confused, each judge now has 2 golden buzzer acts. You can thank Bruno Tonioli from BGT for this change, because in 2023, he pressed the golden buzzer twice.

Simon Cowell can change the rules on ANY Got Talent honestly. He runs the show ...owns the show but at least he's fare. Alot of people don't get though that even though Simon owns it there are still other producers. That guy that came up asking what he was doing and Simon ended up making two golden buzzers for each judge.

I can't even imagine all the work it took to put this together. All the programming for the drones to work within a perspective area, managing drone maintenance and timing it to the music had to be precise. Awesome......
So far I think this act is going to be the winner of AGT this year. Absolutely brilliant.

@@jacobrobles9176 yes, they maintained the quadcopters, set them up, prepared animations, graphics and characters to sync with music, and it took them weeks to do it. They made a cool thing and it's still a live show. It's not like they coded an app for everyone to download and sell them a product. They coded art
They absolutely did the right thing by letting them have Simon's golden buzzer! They were absolutely phenomenal, and they deserved it!

I hope Macy's saw this. It beats their July 4th fireworks shows which I attended 4 times.
Disney World as well just introduced a drone show and will likely bring them into the Parks themselves in the near future!

Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade is in the morning from 9 a.m. to noon on Thanksgiving Day- they have floats and marching bands and balloons but never fireworks due to the time on Thanksgiving.

Someone please tell me why I tear up everytime I watch this performance. So beautiful. You can tell how much this meant to the team to do and share something so extraordinary. For anyone that has a deep love of space; we were looking at this like a kid seeing fireworks for the first time.
Being in a generation where our heads are constantly looking down at our phones, this was so magical. We need more things like this to keep our heads up, our smiles genuine & imaginations alive ✨️🌟 This touched the kid in me in the best way ❤

As a Macy's July 4th Fireworks multiple attendee, I must say this beats all. Perhaps Macy's should hire them. It can be seen for miles away.
Drone shows over NYC are illegal, sorry. There are other parts of the US that regulate drone flying.
@@larrycj4382 I am sure the NYC Council would change the laws if Macy's requested it. Mayor Adams has been using drones to aid in police work so drones are not completely out of the question.

@@larrycj4382 The NYC City Council could change the laws and allow drone shows on a permit basis. I am sure if Macy's
decided to use drones, the City Council would change the laws. Permits can be issued for very special events such as Macy's 4th of July Show. I have been to 4 of the shows and it was expensive since I paid for yacht tickets. A drone show would be seen further away, not just near the water.
Fireworks on 4th of July paired with this would be super epic. Absolute best performance.

This required coordination with the city, the county, the FAA, probably Homeland Security and possibly the FBI. The producers definitely had a hand in this one, but it still wasn't "staged." Just worked closely with the show. The Judges did not know what they would see. Not sure of the Golden Buzzer and fireworks.....probably it was a sort of instinct by the producers, stage managers and directors.

He’s definitely the boss. I’m assuming they just wanted to poke the bear for entertainment purposes about the buzzer situation
Well, the pyros were already set and staged, those wee probably there "just in case" and partially a guess by the producers. It's difficult to say if the guy questioning Simon was a plant as well---but, to answer your question, he was probably one of the stage manager on site. Their responsibilities are to keep the show going and oversee the entire taping, including any Golden Buzzers. Since Simon owns the show and can do as he wants, he would not have told the stage managers about possible press, though I can't see how they would not have been aware.
My personal opinion? Sixty percent staged. In the sense that the pyros were ready to go and the buzzer was out. I think the guy questioning Simon was legit and legit did not know what the hell was going on. Yea Simon is the boss, but it's still that guy's job to make the show go smooth and an unexpected second buzzer is definitely a possible kink in the scripts.

Ugh... I am the only one who doesn't see where the talent here is? Excuse me but I personally would like to see people do something and actually preform in some kind of way. Sure, it might technically be difficulty to set this up but in general it's more of an engineering kind of setup and it doesn't really have any difference than a common light/fireworks kinda show. I mean, they weren't actually "flying" the drones right? They were just programing them beforehand?(or am I wrong?) Would you be this entertained if an actual programmer came and showed you how to code something on a computer, some code you wouldn't even understand? Sure you have some lights here which are easier to present pictures people can understand but the principle of what is being done backstage, you know the actual "talent" is the same...
Also as "light show" it wasn't even anything special, it was what showing a rocket going into space. Sure it's a proud achievement for us humans but I don't find it that "emotional" or "spectacular". It feels like a very generic story to choose and I just can't care for it. I would much rather prefer some original story of some kind being told like this.
And let's not forget the amount of ecstatic reactions in the show lately which feel so fake at this point. The whole thing kinda looks so staged(even though it shouldn't be right?)...like what was even that logic about allowing double golden buzzers... Sure some of the acts are interesting to see but there are many who aren't.
Good for them but this isn't for me and I don't agree it should even pass. it's quite a negative comment but everyone has their own opinition and this is mine. I just don't like the show when it does this.
