Crohns is such a loser! Praying for you 🙏🏽 remicade has been working for me but like u said the side effects are crazy. And even with it my inflammation is still not completely under control. We are warriors 🙌🏽
My husband is currently in the hospital with all the symptoms you said. The doctor hasn’t confirmed that it’s chrons but he said that the symptoms match and they will have to do a colonoscopy to confirm. I’m researching so much because I’ve never met anyone with this disease and I want to know how I can best take care of and support him. Thank you for making this video! I hope you get the care that you need and that you feel better soon. ❤️
Thank you so much, yes please research however it still a disease that doctors don’t know much about which makes it even more frustrating. It’s medications that help a lot with the symptoms unfortunately for me I just have a really stubborn case, but I will say a prayer for him and hopefully he gets to feeling better and you guys can get some answers. A colonoscopy will help a lot !!! Good luck
Renee’s Way we just found out today that it is not chrons or any other chronic bowel disorder. He has been diagnosed with infectious colitis. Still, thank you for this video as I am sure it will help many others! God bless ❤️
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 very good information. I have crohn's and its very hard explaining to ppl how I'm feeling day to day. Some people feel I'm faking and depression kicks in a lot. Currently on Stelara, my anxiety is thru the roof now. At this point I just stay home when I'm not working.
🙏🏽 praying for you it’s definitely difficult and know exactly how you feel. because you don’t look “sick” on the outside ppl overlook the severity. I can say I am on stelara and it has completely changed my life
I am your New Subscriber! I stumbled upon your video, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in May 1988. I chronicle my journey with Crohn’s disease and my Remicade treatments on my TH-cam channel as well. I know that you can beat this as I’ve been beating this for over 30 years. I will continue to keep you in my prayers and trust in God to heal your body as He is healing mine. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or if you need anything!

hope you are doing well, I’m on Stelara now and it’s helped so much. had surgery in Jan for a stricture in my colon but everything has finally been under control
I hope you feel better soon I know how it is to be in pain everyday but like you said different levels depending on the day. Those medications you were taking in the commercials they always have tons of side affects 🤦🏾♀️ thank you for sharing 🙏🏾
Hey there, commenting to you from the hospital bed aswell! I was just diagnosed with Crohns. I haven’t been able to keep anything down for almost two weeks now. Since Friday I’ve been admitted. I’m also 14 weeks pregnant ! So it’s definitely not a easy ride. I’m really tired, I’m now just looking at other black women dealing with this aswell. I’m trying to get myself to eat again. Do you have any special diet to help keep you from flaring up? When I get discharged I want to take my health very seriously and clean up my body. I am trying to persevere though this, it’s really stressful but I am trying to be strong too. Your words are definitely inspiring so thank you for sharing your experience.
Sensei Cocoa sorry responding so late, definitely sending a prayer up for you and baby, I’m hoping your feeling much better now. I am trying to eat a better diet as well, I haven’t been serious. I can tell you it’s certain foods I have noticed flare me up that I stay away from now, also I’ve been working out with a personal trainer now who has me eating mainly salmon, shrimp and chicken breast, no fried foods and it has helped a lot especially I get really gassy which causes a lot of discomfort and changing my eating has made a tremendous difference
I have been suffering from Chron’s for the past 37 years, 7 surgeries. 6 of which was to dissect the intestine, one was because I had to swallow a camera, which is a large pill to study the inside and unfortunately the camera stuck because of the narrowing of the intestine. I only have 8 inches of intestine left so the doctor does not want to have anymore surgeries. I am on opium tincture for chronic diarrhea since they took out my ileum. I have been through so much pain.
Hi, I’m glad your video came up when I was searching for something on the topic. I just had an appointment today with a Gastroenterologist. I was wondering if you had a fecal occult test done? Is this a sure fire way to test for Chron’s? (Besides a colonoscopy).
It is a normal standard test for IBD to test inflammation markers. Some have higher levels some don’t … endoscopy: colonoscopy and pill cam is the best test though. It is a combination of tests to diagnose.
So before you knew you had Crohn’s disease you’re just losing weight did you have any of the bathroom issues when he started if you don’t mind me asking?
My main symptoms are nausea every single day & constipation 😪 4 weeks ago I got my appendix & a piece of my large intestine taken out due to inflammation, don’t know if I actually have chrons because I can never handle the prep for the colonoscopy but I know I need it badly but I’ve tried twice & the prep makes me so sick😪
I hope you get better soon, it’s a pretty good chance it’s Crohns. I just had another surgery in Jan for a stricture. instead of the big jug of nasty solution that will make anybody sick ask them to give you this clear liquid laxative, it’s so much better and not nearly as much to drink. I’ll find the name and comment it
