So it beings... the last great war... to unite the Seven Kingdoms. The damn Royces shall finally pay for their misdeeds- Edric Royston Damn, we only have a couple of episodes to go, this series has been going on for more than two years... it feels like it started yesterday... oh well, this final war will probably be the most epic one for sure! :P
I think it's a testament to how well you RP that I was super anxious for Daeron, even though I already KNOW he didn't die in this episode. The wound system is your best idea.
I'll add my voices to those who suggest conquering the southern Vale - Runestone especially - before focusing your efforts on the central and northern parts of the kingdom. Also, no mention of the Wedding Event taking place on the forums? :P
I'd like to nominate Ser Edric Royston to lead the Siege of Runestone, if and when it happens, and myself to lead the Siege of the Eyrie (Or the Bloody Gate, if Your Grace would prefer to lead the Siege of the Eyrie himself). I don't believe any of my kills were with the Axes, but I'm gonna put that partially down to them being so low-damage. As for where to go next, I stand by the original plan of beelining it for the Bloody Gate and the Eyrie, and then coming back to take the rest. For one, it'd cripple the -Arryns- Royces to lose their Capital, and, as you pointed out, the Riverlands are in danger from an assault from the east, but taking the Bloody Gate early on would help secure the Trident against any such attack. -Lord Jory Redwater, Wartime Hand of the King, Commander of the Dragon's Claw, and Lord of Ruby Keep. Anyways, great episode as always, AK! Loved the double-feature in celebration of this being the final war before Westeros is united, AND the 100th episode(!) of the series. I'm happy to be able to say that I've been with House Brightflame since the series began, and it's been a wild, amazing ride! I'm proud to have been able to be a part of it, even in just watching it, let alone as a Subscriber Knight, which I can never thank you enough for making me.
Oh! I forgot the MVNPC! Today's MVNPC is a tie between Lord Trebor Jordayne, and my boy Ser Jon Green-Apple Fossoway, who both got four kills apiece in the Siege of Gulltown. :)
I suggest you hit Runestone next and let the Lord Commander lead the siege. Afterwards you should be moving towards Wickenden and Redfort before securing Ironoaks. Having enemies in your back is a bad idea especially in the mountainous Vale. So working your way up castle by castle until you hit the Bloody Gate from behind is probably best. Once that is taken you might want to replenish at Fairmarket before returning to take the Eyrie and the northern half of the Vale. House Sentinel would love to welcome you on your way to Fairmarket if you decide to use my strategy. This way you could celebrate the construction of Daeron's Bridge across the Green Fork :D
I would hit Redfort then Wicked den. That way you have no enemies behind you. Then inch by inch work your way to the Eyrie. The Vale will be tough. I might even suggest getting more knights or bringing the Sellswords out of retirement in the name of the crown. Their loyalty to the Brightflames have been without question. It might be necessary. Just a thought. Great episode!
It seems we'll have more episodes to come! With all six kingdoms conquered by The Golden Dragon....only the Falcon of The Vale remains.....well only one of them shall dominate the sky and that shall be the dragon....
When you finish a clash of kings could you maybe move onto A World of Ice and Fire? It's like a Clash of Kings but with a main quest? But you can go into sandbox if you like.
City sieges are the worst when I play. Thankfully Gulltown wasn't that bad and shouldn't hinder the campaign. I'd let the other lords handle the Three sisters for now and foscus in at least securing the lower half of the Vale so you have a firm foothold in the area. I find it more likely they'd come down to help the Vale push you out then take your lands in the North but even if they do attempt that your lords can hold them off until you push up.
Leave the Eyrie last for dramatic effect... RP wise you could send a lord to siege the it while you take the rest of the veil then at the end you lower the difficulty to symbolise a starved garrison.
I swore a vow before the old gods, to the comment in every ACOK video The North Remembers so here it is... The North Remembers the day the Brightflame upstart struck down the Direwolf from the walls of Winterfell, The North Remembers the day our men were cut down one by one THE NORTH REMEMBERS THE DAY OUR KINGDOM BEING TAKEN OVER! WINTER IS COMING AND BLOOD SHALL BE SPILLED UPON OUR SWORDS! - Lord Cavan Goldstark, Lord of Goldsnow and Lord Protector of the Golden Ice Bio: The Goldstarks were a minor and almost forgotten cadet branch of House Stark, founded by Jasper Snow, a bastard of House Stark, he was legitimised and received lands after Jasper Stark killed a rebellious lord of the mountain clans and was gifted the lord's former lands. Jasper Stark built his keep by a frozen river, when winter ended and spring came, gold was found in large quantities, mostly in blocks of melting ice. Despite this, Jasper Stark's holdings never had the manpower to mine the gold, but it allowed him to have an elite garrison of 750 men. Jasper Stark added Gold to his name, forming House Goldstark and naming the keep Goldsnow as a reminder of the house's humble beginnings as a Snow. Maesters also eventually named the river Golden Ice. Lord Cavan Goldstark was born 18 years before Robert's Rebellion. He did not see combat in the rebellion but was knighted for his bravery during the Greyjoy Rebellion. He was one of the many lords who called their banners and joined the Young Wolf host, and was one of the last to swear fealty. Household: Elinor Fossoyway-Wife Maester Gerion Gerold Snow-Master of Arms Robert-Ser Gerold Snow's son and Captain of the Guards Ancestral Blade: Snow's Gold

Every time I see a new ATfD video, I immediately click on it and pause whatever I was watching before, because, no matter what it may have been, it's utter dogshit in comparison.
CABRALFAN27 That's not true, Viking Conquest is still better, I honestly loved ACOK until the North and the Free Folk were attacked due to the northern and free folk fan boy in me so...🖕
Well Runestone is the Ancestral home of House Royce. Would be a huge blow to them if you took there castle, and let them know that they caused this war
Since you are nearing the end of this series I would like to suggest th t you play one of my favourite it more next wars word conquest I really think you would enjoy it
My King, the Vale is Strong and has many Lords your northern Side is by far you weakest. Which is why you should dedicate your time in the next episode into taking out and capturing as many Vale and Three sister Lords as you can as the more you have captured the less damage they can do to you. OR Wipe out the Three sisters, leave the Vale invasion and wipe out those 3 measly Islands as once they are taken out the Lords will begin to defect taking that faction out quickly. As ever you Humble Vassal Lord Chrisarys Stormfyre
you really need to reconsider retiring the sell-swords. If your goal was to unite the 7 Kingdoms together, you still have not completed that task. Why allow your best troops to retire before the job is actually done? Wouldn't it make more sense to allow ALL your troops to retire once the kingdom is united? Also, why give special privileges to a group of sell-swords who would easily fight for your enemies if paid more gold, than to troops that come from your loyal subjects. Seems like a backwards philosophy to me.
They are the last members of the Forgotten Sons, The Brightflame's house sellsword company. So these are not just typical unknown sellswords to Daeron but friends and warriors he has known since childhood perhaps. This is all done from a roleplay perspective and to make it more challenging. Thanks for watching. Perhaps check out some season one episodes. It could make some of these things more clear. :)
yeah I've been watching since season 1, just forget that element of the lore. If you're purposefully trying to make it more challenging that's fine! Because you're certainly making it harder to win without those troops.
Arcade Knight maybe for the last siege you could bring them out of retirement as one last hurrah, it doesn't need to be all of them but maybe 20 to 30 of the kings closest friends in the garrison could be nice

Omg we finally attack the Vale! The Brightflame conquest is near a close :D

Amazing Episode Arcade good job taking our advice on Heading to Gulltown

I suggest taking the bottom, it would give you a safe place to take and put troops not to mention if you need to restock on supply
It's coming to an end. But I don't want it to. Nice episode by the way.
When you finish a clash of kings could you maybe move onto A World of Ice and Fire? It's like a Clash of Kings but with a main quest? But you can go into sandbox if you like.

I built the Nilfgaardian empire in Essos and named myself Emhyr Var Emreis out of frustration that there wasn't a Witcher mod for this game
Save the Eyrie for last. Think of what an epic story it would be for the Vale to make a bloody and hopeless last stand in their most famous fortress.
Leave the Eyrie last for dramatic effect... RP wise you could send a lord to siege the it while you take the rest of the veil then at the end you lower the difficulty to symbolise a starved garrison.

Well, I haven't gotten around to watching VC yet, so... Eh, let's agree to disagree.
I would actually die of laughter if the main character dies lol
Well Runestone is the Ancestral home of House Royce. Would be a huge blow to them if you took there castle, and let them know that they caused this war

Hi Arcade Knight love your vids
Is this series still going? Also, when you conquer every castle in the seven kingdoms what happens? Do you really become lord of the seven kingdoms?
Yes we will continue until all is conquered or the king suffers his final wound.
Arcade Knight Alright very cool. Good job on the videos. They are so great!
@@ArcadeKnight always come back to watch again ever year or so, hope you come back to.

How do you have 174k gold in inventory when you are losing 35k gold every week? min 5:38
SilverSoulxd he obviously had a stockpile of gold
Too bad that I never fully invested myself into this series...
it's not too late; If you start now, you can probably be all fully caught up and invested by the final episode. :)
