I love to play paper magic but it makes it much harder to see the card effects, and a bit harder to read the game state, would love the in-person arena matches that were set up before
I don't know, hard to beat in person magic, feels different you know? I do definitely agree on the game state though. Maybe they could add in the hands in post production?
Hard disagree. Paper magic has always been king. I do think their camera setup for this leaves something to be desired though. They should look at old SCG coverage and try more that way, that would definitely help with keeping up with what's going on.

@@darkcheaker when the cards are small with not great reasultion and the hands aren't visible, companions are just sorta on the feild with tokens likewise ambiguously placed... harder than arena. The animations have very little obstruction and the arrows that show targets also aid in comprehension. I agree that in person magic is better but the comprihensibility is near undeniably worse when it comes to watching it online.
@@theBestInvertebrate I really don't understand this take. What's ambiguous about anything during this coverage? Sure, you're not always able to see/know what's in a player's hand, but that's not a very important part of the game as far as spectating goes.
This commentary is very bad because I feel the commentators don't have much chemistry because they don't know each other well.
Disagree, also factually incorrect as these two have been a casting duo for years at this point.
