New NCBI TV Ad with Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh: National Council for the Blind

  • www.ncbi.ie. Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh urges viewers to close their eyes to appreciate the words spoken. For 20 seconds there are no images on screen as Micheál talks about the barriers facing people with sight loss and the solutions that are available to overcome them. Micheál asks viewers to donate to NCBI - Working for People with Sight Loss and to support the work of the National Council for the Blind of Ireland.

    The ad is not running on television at the moment. It was also used as part of a cinema advertising campaign. There is a radio version running on RTE Radio 1 at the moment.

    i remember hearing this ad on the radio while driving.
    i could just imagine all the die hard GAA fans closing their eyes and crashing their cars just because michael o muircheartaigh said so!
