    WOW I'm amazed that so many people need this as my 2023 R-Max Sport came from the factory with heated seats due to the gaps between all of the panels, large cut outs under the seats and the rubber garments around the seat belts never staying in place. Gotta love duct tape (preferably T-Rex brand)

    Very helpful video we installed and used the seat heaters in low 40 degree weather. The wife was extremely happy.
    What did you do to make the switchs fit the factory switch cut outs. The switches included in the kit were smaller I had to zip tie them in.

    Can we see a picture of the heated seat switch installed in to the dash? Are the Tusk switches smaller than the hole Yamaha provides?

    • @kevinbradshaw6133
      @kevinbradshaw6133 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes the switches are smaller than the factory cut outs, but we did a follow up video today showing how I install them making them tight and secure

      Do you have a link to the video showing how to make the switches fit in the factory spots?

      @@wildrides4354 We do. We posted a follow up video show what I came up with for securing the switches solidly in place despite them being smaller than the factory cutouts.

    What is the part number you used? I went to tusk site and ordered the ones that say fit the rmax and even trimming them, it still looks like they are still to wide.

    Great video! I love Kevin's meticulous nature. Might be a strange question but is there any way to upgrade X4 seats to feel as comfortable as a terex four?

    Kevin, so you can attach all of the yellow wires to one of the Yamaha accessory power point locations? If you use a Yamaha pigtail, you would then just run both yellow to the black and red? That's the part I didn't quite understand. The heater switch red and black still go directly to the battery + and -?

  • @dwightsnodgrass9737
    @dwightsnodgrass9737 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Does each yellow wire go to a separate power supply point or all four to one power point? How did you connect the yellow wires to the power point? Thanks.

    • @kevinbradshaw6133
      @kevinbradshaw6133 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They can all be attached to a single keyed power point because they only power the switch, that way the seats will only come on with accessory power.

    • @kevinbradshaw6133
      @kevinbradshaw6133 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can attach just using any type of solder-less wire connector

    Seems like it would be nice to have but looks like a pain in the ass to install….
