I agree. I'm the type that loves affection, to me you tell someone you love them but you also show them. My husband's parents didnt show much affection and that was how he was to me. So when Tammy came along and truly showed him she loved him he didn’t know how to receive it because he never had love like that but he took it for granted.

Tammy is such a sweet genuine woman who deeply loves those around her, but doesn't always get the appreciation she deserves . She's a selfless woman who deserves the upmost respect especially from her husband and daughter. I can really relate to her being so tired and exhausted juggling all areas of her life. Is this an excuse? No. Should her behavior be condoned? Absolutely not. I don’t like when they (keep) asking. Asking once or even twice is fine. After they are told “no” or “not now” a couple of times, then it should be left alone. There are responsibilities that come with those babies, as we all know. So the grandparent can want a grandchild all day, but it’s their child that has to deal with the responsibilities.

Looking from the previous episode.. Deb didn’t want him to seek individual counsel because she was scared of what would be discovered. She said herself she was not an affectionate person while raising him because she was so hell bent on being “strong.” In the end, the past is the past. But he is allowed to internalize those things. She wanted to make it seem like his problems only stemmed from the relationship and not necessarily him. Any person needs to get themselves right to be of any asset to another. A man wanting to seek therapy is honestly a step in the right direction. Sometimes you just need an unbiased opinion on things/challenges you’re going through and dealt with. It’s okay. We all have pain.
